I desperately needed a hair overhaul and I wanted the works... I have dry/frizzy hair so I needed Keratin to smooth it out. Im a dark brunette with hazel eyes so I thought some highlights or balayage would be a good look for me. I am too impatient to grow my shoulder length hair so I googled "Best Hair Extensions Philly" and thats how I found Tundella Salon. When I made the appointment I was really happy that they scheduled a consultation first instead of jumping right into it... Very professional approach. Gustavo was so attentive and super thorough! He gave me tons of options and explained how the Organic Keratin works. I had some options for extensions and we decided on Hot Heads... My appointment was the following week. We did it all in one day and I seriously could not be happier with my results! My wedding is September and I know where Im going for all the up-dos for me and my bridal party. This is hand down the best hair salon in Philly A+

Do not go here! Salon was recommended by hotel concierge for wedding hair Updo and makeup. We called for 2 appointments, letting them know what time we had to be back at hotel to dress for photos and asked them to tell us what times we needed gone there. We went into the salon the day before to ask whether hair should be clean or wet and were told to come in later than original time. When we showed up (Saturday mid day) the salon was understaffed. Makeup person was a freelancer who had never been there before. (She was only good thing about salon). One stylist and one helper could not manage; they did a horrible job on our hair-dos and made us late. We had to redo our hair. We were so disappointed and upset ; this is not a professional salon. They were unpologetic. Terrible experience

Gustavo Tundella is my favorite hairstylist. Ive been seeing Gustavo since he was in Miami and Ive been doing my hair with him since. I was so excited when I found out he opened his own salon in Philly. I drive 1 1/2 to 2 hrs every time I go see him since I live in NJ and its well worth the drive. He has a great staff at his salon. Everyone is very hospitable, professional and attentive. He listens to what I want and doesnt deviate from my requests. Sometimes I just want a change, but Im not sure which way to go and his creative side never disappoints. Theres nothing he cant do. You want extensions, hell do them. He even has his own hair extension line. He is a true artist and will have my business for as long as hes around. Cant wait for my next visit. ❤️

They took me last minute- they were very flexible on timing which I was very greatful for. Another stylist stood me up and I had to find somewhere else to go so that my hair could look nice for a special event. Everyone was super friendly. Haircut and blow out by Lauren was fast and looked great after. I normally dont like how my hair cut looks until a couple weeks after, so that was a major win! They gave me some 25% off cards for me and my friends. I will definitely be going back and sending friends.

I have been going to see Gustavo at Tundella almost since they opened. I am not one of those people who wants to go in ever month or every other month to get a trim, nor do I want a hairstyle that has to have a lot of work done each day to look good. Let me tell you, I have NEVER had a haircut that looks this good, with so little effort. PLUS, it grows out so well that I only need to go back about every 5-6 months. Its fabulous! Do yourself a favor. Try them. Everyone there is fantastic.

Ive been going to Tundella salon for over 1 year and Gustavo and his staff are awesome! I feel very well taken care of the entire time Im in the spa and most importantly listened to as to what my goals are for my hair style and color. I absolutely hate myself for ever having doubts, but when walking into a salon for the first time who doesnt...The atmosphere is so relaxing and the people are so warm and gentle....They really have some very good stylist, i happened to have had my hair styled by John Jones i extremely loved how he handled my hair, i am now a faithful patron, and have been for the past 6 months.

Yesterday I went in for a cut and color for my extensions... I have to say it was literally the best experience Ive had in a salon, not only because of the amazing stylist (extension and color GENIUS by the way) but the service and other staff members were fantastic! Was told they just got an ATM machine and how nice it was to get cash tips. Finished my hair treatment and I go to pay with a credit card and suddenly the credit card machine doesnt work and I have to pay the full amount in cash... Just seemed staged to me. The two times Ive been there I have enjoyed my ombre/balayage color treatments.

Tundella was absolutely the best salon experience that I have had in the city. They were very easy to work with and gave me a great cut and color. The owner is a famous stylist and really trains his people very well. I am now a regular and loyal customer. Very convenient location too!

Ive been getting my hair cut here for about a year now. Theyre very friendly, accommodating and do a great job cutting guys hair. Gustavo, the owner, and Oxana both do a great job. I definitely recommend them, especially if youre looking to get more than just a standard guys hair cut.
