The people there are nothing but liars. I had two bad experiences with them. The first incident was when I had to go back to get my tires switched after six months (as they had promised "free tire rotations" every 6000 miles). The tires had started to wear off on one side by then...and when I inquired, they said it was because they didnt "align" the new tires/wheels when I purchased through them six months back. (they didnt tell me anything about alignment that time) - and this time I had to pay for the alignment and the tire rotation! Two months later, I was unfortunate enough to go back to them for an engine oil leak. They took a diagnostic test and charged me $45 and "promised" to consolidate that if I had my car repaired by them. They printed out a quote of $1580 for changing my front right wheel axle and repairing the oil leak. - when nothing was wrong with my axle. They said that the oil leak has damaged my axle, and if not repaired it could cause an accident! Shocked at the quote, I drove off from goodyear without getting the repair done. Now my car started making squeaky noise from the front wheels. The noise was so loud that bystanders on the streets would notice my car coming. I took my car to a different shop the next day, and they gave me a quote of $780 for repairing the engine oil leak. And when I inquired about the "damage to the axle", the mechanic said that somebody bent the metal structure near the axle - which was causing the noise. In short, these scammers tried to rip me off!

Total peace of mind. This shop was recommended to me by an employee of box store shop that didnt provide a particular service that I needed. Skeptic that I am, once I drove away with the repair completed, I had my own "mechanic" and car repair worries were over. The customer service was excellent, and as I sat in the waiting area, I was further assured by eavesdropping on several other customers that were clearly fully satisfied regulars. I now also have a 96 Nissan Maxima that I have had Eric and Dave do a considerable amount of work on. Most of the work needed I understood, but if I didnt, they explained it to me in detail. I now use the Maxima to drive to Delaware to take my 95 year old mother-in-law to her medical appointments without a concern about my car being safe and in good condition.

I got a flat tire changed here last week and the price was good. Before I left they told me that my brake pads were almost entirely worn through and need to be replaced ASAP, $220. Said if I dont do it now that I would mess up my brakes, cost would be around $360. I got a cheaper quote at pepboys so took my car there. They did a brake inspection and my brakes are fine. I asked a lot of questions and was told repeatedly that theyre fine and dont need to be replaced for at least 6-9 months. Guy at pepboys said they were probably trying to rip me off bc Im a woman. I will never go to this place again. Thank you pepboys for saving me $200+

I worked with the store manager whose name was Eric and he gave me what I thought was a more than fair deal on tires for my vehicle. In addition he had to order the tires and as soon as they hit the floor in his place he called me and no sooner than I got there the tires were installed. This is my second time buying from United tire and I found both the people and the establishment business conducive. They wanted to be fair with what they wanted to sell you and the service they provided was outstanding. I would not hesitate and will not hesitate when I again need tires.

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have never had a problem with these guys (Dave and Eric.) They are friendly and their service cant be beat. I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler and they have kept me on the road and rolling along. I also like their "waiting room" and they give you coffee and donuts/cake. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience. (I dont understand the negative reviews as I have always had great service and they take you even at the last minute or emergency repair.)

Had a blow out on I95, so was trying too find the closest tire shop. So I rode up on United Tire and Service. My car is old so they said my tire was not in stock today. Darn, so I went too Manny, Moe, and Jack. They had the tire. Yes, But it would be a 3 Hour wait. So I got the tire too go. United Tire, mounted the tire , put it on in no time . The Manager Dave was very Nice and the technician Tony, knew his stuff. A very Good and Pleasant Experience. THANKS UNITED TIRE. 5 STARS

My husband Hakim took our van there this morning because we had a super bad oil leak, he was met by a very nice man named Eric, he was very prompt, polite, and efficient. He was also very knowledgeable as well as the mechanics. They were able to diagnose our problem within minutes and were able to fix it in a timely manner. My husband said we will definitely be returning for further issues! I will be recommending them to others as well. Thanks for everything guys!!

First experience was good (replacing two tires) but the second experience was the worst. They actually showed me an air filter that appeared very dirty and was NOT from my car. They also wanted to complete work in the car for an outrageous amount. I only changed the oil with them and got the tire rotation, which was free. I will never do anything for pay at their place. Definitely NOT trustworthy, which is unfortunately a general problem in the auto industry.
