It is sad to say, that the Pottstown office was once a place to secure employment without the problems that incur now. Berks and beyond use to be a totally professional staffing, but since corporate hired a manager name Dawn, nothing but problems to which the PA Labor Board has had to get involved so you can get paid. They hired someone from ProStar that has a history of employee payment on the pay week. I resigned immediately when I got knowledge of her being hired. My girlfriend stayed and the same problems at ProStar happen again, whereas Shonda from the labor board had to intercede. What is even worse, Dawn only wanted to pay for one day when my girlfriend worked 2 days. So Shonda is making sure to enforce the correct pay. Berks lost credibility when hiring a manager that has this type of history without doing an investigation as they do with normal employees. The choice is yours, but be careful.

I went there to get a job and I specifically told them I was not available first shift because I have school they continued to try to stick me on first shift where I was not available. Not only that, they found me a second shift job and told me it was 4:30 to 12:00 which is fine BUT when I got there they told me that their second shift was from 4:30pm to 3am and they also told me Berks and beyond has been sending people to their job for years now and that their schedule has never changed. This isnt even a city I live in and my boyfriend just dropped me off so he could go to work too so I had to basically work for nothing for 8 hours because i only stayed until 12am because I was stranded.! I feel like they just want to place people anywhere just to say they are doing their job but this agency is so unprofessional and they mess with peoples personal lives

Berks in beyond is not what it use to be I over heard Dawn telling another recruiter that she wouldnt allow me to work at a certain place because I am a female then when Dawn ask if I was still in the other room she then got upset with the recruiter and said she should of told her I was in the other room because what she just did was sexual discrimination Im considering filing a lawsuit because of this when I left I started to cry because Im a single mother of three in really needed that job Im speaking out because I dont want this to happen to any other women!

I dont get why everyone has a problem with this location. I have gotten 4 jobs through them one after another. I brought my brother in and he got a job the next day. And the same with my wife. Dawn got us into some nice paying jobs. And even followed us up at tg e end of the week to see how we were doing. If you cant get a job here, you really must be doing something wrong.

I went in there for a job at a certain place they said they were going to set up an interview for me at this place and it never happened I called 4 times after this and no one ever got back to me. Not only that it seems like they cared about to get for lunch that day then to help me out
