This place is a perfect example of the rip off auto body shop stereotype. I went here to get my motorcycle painted. I had 10 parts that needed to be sanded and repainted black with gold lettering. I was told 2 weeks and $800. After the estimate I bought new pieces, so they only had to paint 4 pieces plus the helmet and only sand and prep 3 pieces and the helmet instead of 10. After 2 weeks they didn’t even touch the job. When I asked when they would be done they kept saying “next week”. After 4 weeks they finally painted the pieces black and told me I had to tape and sand them for the gold. I told them that I had stencils for the lettering and showed them that if they are left on too long they leave a residue. I was told by the person on the phone and the painter that it wouldn’t be a problem. I sanded and taped them just to get things going and came back the next day with every thing ready to go. Another week passed and after pressing them to finish the job, they rushed to get things done and called me complaining that the stencils left residue. I told them that they would do that if left on too long. They said that they will handle it and to pick up the pieces tomorrow. When I went in all the lettering had scratches and imperfect lines. On top of the imperfect lines they also cleared over the residue. So I was left with tiny bumps and dents all over the logos. The owner George tried to say that the imperfections were normal and there was nothing they could do. A week later I was putting a decal on the helmet and when I tried to reposition it the entire paint job came right off and you can see that they didn’t even bother to sand the helmet and prep it before painting. I called them about the helmet and the “Lifetime Warranty” to get the helmet fixed and they said they would give me refund and that they were done. I was told to come in with my receipt and get the refund. After arriving there I was confronted by the owner George who proceeded to yell at me and blame me for the crappy work. He refused to give me a refund or redo the work and told me to come back tomorrow for the refund. Since he is the owner he could have easily given the refund, but he just wanted to play games and be spiteful. Not only is this unprofessional, but for a grown man to play childish games speaks volumes about his personality. They took 5 weeks to do a simple paint job. Most places you drop off your job and they do all the work. Here they had me do all the time consuming work of sanding and taping up the pieces. Then when they screw up, they had the audacity to literally scream at the customer and blame me. As if anything I did made them take 4 weeks to even start the job or that it was my fault that they didn’t sand the helmet to be painted. It is difficult to find a good auto body shop, but I can honestly say that any other place would be leaps and bounds above these guys. They don’t care about the customer or take pride in their work. They just want to collect insurance money. Go somewhere else and get the job done right. At the very least you won’t have to deal with the man child owner.

Cissy-- youve been in the customer service field for thirty years and you still havent learned to dress the part? Is your face ever not greasy? Do you ever fix your hair and wear professional clothing? You DO NOT go above the call of duty for anyone but George, you have so much of his feces on your nose, it almost improves your looks. The boot licking you do and the brown nosing you call professionalism has another term-- pathetic. Youre nothing but his white trash lackey sitting behind a desk, while your butt grows wider and wider. What were you hoping for while you took your mediocre vocational classes? Were you hoping to get a real job with a good reputation and instead got stuck with a couple of Philly crooks? Water sinks its to its own level. To call you a "Dragon Lady", HA! More like a crooked nasty looking broad trying to be a Dragon Lady. Just remember, what goes around comes around and you and George will pay for your thievery. What you really should do instead of kissing his wrinkled behind and using his feces as foundation is take some lessons on manners, professionalism, poise dignity, hygiene and grooming. You are no lady, you are nothing but a filthy, nasty lunger. As for George, he couldnt get laid with a thousand dollars sticking out of his zipper.

BEWARE OF THE DRAGON LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first glance I thought the reviews of this place were a bit too rosey, but after having the misfortune of dealing with George , Nick. and that gum cracking, classless, clueless witch in the front offiice, I am convinced that these thieves wrote thier own reviews. Our nightmare began when our car was involuntarily towed there after a head on collision. After we are qouted a ridiculous $5000 fee, ( our second opinion was $2,000) we wanted to get our car out of thier lot, and we agreed to pay $150 for towing, etc, we showed up at the office, and Sissy tried to soak us for storage, and when , on an 80 degree day, when we tried to use her office water fountain, she had a complete manic breakdown, asking us who we thought we were to take "her" water, and she was "so upset" that "we made her" mess up the simplest of credit card transactions. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect in my life!!!

I just got my car from the shop today and couldnt be happier. I had the pleasure of having Nick do the appraisal and he took total control of the entire situation for me. It is hard enough to have someone leave you with paying for your car repairs after they hit it and he totally understood what the car meant to me. He kept me in the loop the entire time he was working on my car and they arranged for Enterprise to also pick me up and when the car was going to be a day or two longer he took care of that with enterprise also. Cissy the receptionist was also pleasant and helpful and made me feel comfortable too. The entire staff that worked on the car did a wonderful job and from my experience I can understand why Hyundai dealership told me to take it there. I would highly recommend them from my experience and the workmanship that was done with my car.

My parked car was hit by an upstanding citizen who didn’t leave their information. I quoted 3 places in Wilmington, all estimates seemed high and would take 1-2 weeks to repair. I was recommended to Artistic Body Shop by my Subaru dealership and their quote was a THIRD of the cost and would take 3 days. They were the clear choice and the repair was flawless, they even cleaned the exterior and interior! Cissy and George were very accommodating and as another user stated, even had Enterprise send someone to pick me up to get a rental car when they were only located across the street. Thanks guys! ...And to the 1-star anonymous reviewer who I just flagged – please seek professional help, you are absolutely vile.
