I cant praise Limelight enough! My oldest daughter was hooked after taking her first class, the summer Princess Kamp, three years ago. Now she attends classes year-round, and is absolutely in love with all dance styles and all of her wonderful teachers! While she enjoys both tap and hip hop, she is most passionate about her ballet and jazz class with Miss Brianne. But of course she had a blast in Miss Amandas summer hip hop class and cant wait to take another class this summer. As for my youngest, shes always had trouble functioning well with a group and paying attention, but after attending the Broadway Babies class with her this summer, I saw that Miss Kate patiently and effectively led her class with no evidence of frustration. Needless to say, my daughter grew to adore Miss Kate! We had a rough transition to another class, where I would not be in class with my daughter, and she spent her first class with Miss Jericho in quite a grumpy and defiant mood. Since I knew she had issues with following directions and working with a group of other children, after that first class I was sure I would have to pull her out permanently. But Miss Jericho assured me that she just needed to adjust and that she would do well. Sure enough, now she loves going to dance class each week, and when I watch the class through the window, I can see how attentive she is, how well she follows Miss Jerichos directions, and how well-behaved she acts. The structure that the class offers has done wonders with my daughters behavior, even at home, and it takes a very talented teacher to effectively lead a class of 3-year-olds and ensure a lasting impression.If anyone is looking for a fun and nurturing environment for their child/children, I highly recommend Limelight!

Limelight Dance Studio is by far the most professionally run studio in our area. My daughter began dancing with me in a Mommy & Me class with Miss Kate when she was about 2. She fell in love with dancing and we fell in love with Limelight. When I was looking to enroll her in a class I called several local studios and having danced myself for a local studio from grade school through graduating high school I had some experience with both how studios were run and the instructors in the area. After calling a few studios I was familiar with I called Limelight after hearing from a few other parents that they had good experiences there. From the moment I first spoke and then met Karen, the owner, I was impressed. She provided me with all of the information I needed and the studio is run very well from a business perspective,which I appreciated. We always know well in advance when performances will be, when payments are due, when pictures will be taken, etc. This information is provided in the monthly newsletter and includes the other promotions and activities that take place at the studio for the dancers, such as fun holiday activities. My daughter is now 5 and has been dancing for a few years with Miss Brieann at Limelight and we couldnt be happier with the teachers, performances are always a treat, and how well the studio is run. This is the first dance studio that my daughter has taken classes with and she is in her second class now. She loves it, her teachers have been great, everyone is friendly, and the new studio for smaller children is beautiful. I love the convenience of having her dance lessons at the local mall; its nice that I can sit there and watch/wait while her class is going on, but if I want to walk around the mall or leave and come back, thats fine too. We will definitely continue here in the future. My only complaint is that communication here is sometimes lacking. On more than one occasion we have been told something by one staff member only to be told something totally different by another at a later time. There is a bit of wondering who to believe. I realize that sometimes things have to change and not everyone gets notified, but its very irritating when I pay for a costume because one staff member told me it was mandatory, only to be told by someone else the next week that its optional. As I said, we like it here and will stay, but if they could only be better about getting the rules straight with all employees and be more consistent, I would definitely give this studio an excellent review.

Our experience at Lime Light has been fantastic! Both Stella and I enjoy every minute we spend there. Stella has learned so much. She has gone from being a shy little girl with "stage fright" to a confident, cheerful performer. All of the teachers - not just those in charge of her classes - make her feel good about what she is doing there. And this old Nana has gotten herself moving in the Adult classes. Both teachers and classmates have become caring friends. Stella and I look forward to continuing to dance our hearts out at Lime Light! (And special thanks to Lisa and Gracyn for recommending we sign up with Lime Light!)

This is our first year at Limelight after being with another studio for five years. What first brought me to check out Limelight was their recital. One of my students danced in the recital in the spring and I was so impressed with the professionalism with the recital. The recital was not real long and everyone in the audience remained seated to "enjoy the show". Parents did not need to get up and get their children after they were finished performing or to take them back to perform. My daughter was a little hesitant about switching after five years but Miss Amanda is great and my daughter loves her hip hop class!

Both of my daughters enjoyed the fun classes at Limelight for years. The costumes are very pretty and age appropriate, the staff is great with the children, the recital admissions are relatively reasonably priced and not too long. It is not the place to go if you are looking for a more formal or competitive dance experience, but it is a good introduction to dance and allows dancers of all abilities to participate.

My daughter is in her 4th year at Limelight and we have been very pleased over the years. The staff is very patient, energetic, and absolutely wonderful with the kids. The communication from Karen has been great and the recitals have been very organized and timely in the past. The schedule offers a variety of classes with a few options for days and times. I would highly recommend Limelight Dance Studio.

This is my daughters second year with Limelight. She absolutely LOVES it. She gets so excited when she wakes up in the morning and realizes its her day to have dance class. The smile on her face is priceless and I truly enjoy taking her and hearing all about her class. It makes me feel good that she is able to participate in a wonderful dance environment.

THIS IS THE ONE FOR ME!! Been to two other local studios and Limelight by far is the top. My daughter loves it here and it is so different from the others. I really like the recitals, short and spectacular. My daughter will be taking the new Musical Theater class, that she saw in the Christmas Recital. This will be her 3rd class.
