The Dance Center is the premiere dance school in Chester County for a beginning to pre-professional training environment. Having danced here for eight years, I have found that the friendly and accepting surroundings are experienced by every dancer within a comprehensive environment that stimulates the development and growth of dance as an art form. A warm, caring and professional staff individually mentors each student through their physical, emotional, technical and cognitive development. Every student’s goals and aspirations – whether for a professional career or personal enjoyment – are reviewed annually by the artistic staff to achieve the best path for personal success. The Dance Center is large enough to meet every dancers expectations – yet the faculty know each student personally and this makes it easy for the dancers to call it their second home. Four state of the art dance studios, two comfortable dressing rooms, student lounge, and a student study room for homework completion between classes are additional compelling reasons to make The Dance Center your studio.

The Dance Center is by far the best dance school you could attend in the area. The portion of staff dedicated to ballet is well educated in the Vaganova syllabus and those who teach other generas of dance are also very well equipped to teach what they teach. The Dance Center staff is very approachable and sincere- whether it be a question of dance, technique or life. The studio itself is a warm environment; the dressing rooms are bright and arranged with a great use of space as well as three ample sized studios and a brand new, beautiful lounge area. It is a great convenience to have The Village Dance Shoppe attached to the studio. Anything you could need from clothing to sewing or hair supplies is at your fingertips. Between the staff and organization itself I could not imagine my 15 years of training anywhere else.

It is one of the better dance schools in the area however they are very disrespectful for children and parents. Weve been with them for 2 years but are looking for something else now.
