you pretty much get what you pay for, especially if you are on a budget. Honestly there are some cons and pros about this gym. i have visited so many other planet fitness, i was so amazed because there were so huge and have so many equipments, however this one ... ...pros... ..Cons... FRIENDLY STAFFS The roof leaks sometime LOT OF TREADMILLS Not enough exercises equipment the restrooms sometime stink This planet is good for first-time member, just like someone first time going to the gym. sometime i have to wait 10 minutes to use an equipment!!!!!!!!! im tired of waiting to use an equipment due to the fact that they only have one available or maybe two if you are lucky. overall, its a good place to work out and relieve some stress but like i say, you only get what you pay for. i call it the ghetto gym.. CHEAP, NOT ENOUGH EQUIPMENTS, ROOF IS LEAKING LIKE CRAZY, BUCKETS ALL OVER THE PLACE TO CATCH THE WATER FROM THE ROOF LOL.

I moved into town from Columbus Ohio. The PF gyms there were top line with New equipment, total body enhancement pods, wifi and great staff. When I first went to the Planet Fitness on 5th st Hwy in reading, Everything was old with a number of equipment out of order, a number of bathroom stalls also out of order. They did not have wifi. How do they expect you to listen to music without wifi???? The staff, especially the club manager Amber C. was so rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I have never met someone who lacked professionalism and customers service. She is incompetent and not able to be a great example as a manager. She was so rude to my mother and I. As a black card member I refuse to go to that gym. LA fitness here I come!!!!!!!!!! I would rather get the LA fitness discount at the begining of the year and pay them $20 a month!!!! Pool and sauna!!!!!!!!

Called today because I wanted to change my location to Lancaster due to me moving. Online my account has a 0.00$ past due amount but when I go to try to transfer my account online it says its not in good standing. So I called to see if anyone one would be able to assist me the girl attempts to help me then doesnt understand why it wont let me transfer then tells me to call on Saturday to talk to the manager what type of customer service is that where I cant get my issue solved in a timely matter.

One word to describe this place, ghetto! You have the most evil and unfriendly staff in this facility. The manager is very rude, and with some serious attitude problem. While I was working out in this gym, the police were called on the manager because she assaulted the planet fitness member. It was the craziest thing i have ever seen. Avoid this place at all costs!

Not my home gym but I normally love going to Planet Fitness in the Philadelphia area. However, the owner of this Planet Fitness must have issues because after paying the $5 guest fee I was informed that I couldnt workout with my head scarf on! Ive never been told I couldnt workout with a scarf on. Ridiculous rule! Ill be contacting someone on thi matter.

Heavily used place to work out. Locker rooms smell like the inside of my hockey bag mixed with a portapotty. Other than that staff is friendly plenty of equipment.

Not a bad place to workout. Not a gym for serious lifters but great for those looking to get in shape. Only thing I wish is that they had wifi.
