lol no, just got done horrible, creepy vibe from the minute i started talking to the guy, mmaybe its me.. 1st and last time going tho...told the fella high fade leave not too short on top to be able to part... during cut i tell the guy i dont et my haircut but once every 3 months by a different barber and it doesnt really have to look super perfect pretty, just "make it look good enough for court". i said this because well, i have to go to court tomorrow. he then says without pause in what he is doing and says... "i did this with a guy earlier it turned out good..." . I immediately have flashbacks of Atlantic City when i walked into the wrong barber shop!! I have to trust the guy right? I mean i said make it look good enough for court. so yea , im cool right? NOPE, guess he figures he aint gonna see me again and proceeds to pretty much army cut me not ven close to what i wanted. i will be telling my story to as many locals as i know. it is probable that most good revues here have no clue what a real barber is. hint: real barbers know how to use sheers and straight razors and take their time to do an acceptable job...this guy i wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy...typical small town buzz n run electric trimmer warrior who likely learned his skills from his great granddad and knows nothing but a military cut...easiest 15min $18 amirite mr lol barber man? good day and good luck to whoever isnt a regular at this rookies shop

EDIT, 05/11/17: Mark: so sad to see youre no longer in business. Thank you for your many years of service to our community! Besides the excellent service, I will miss your conversation and friendly personality you showed me and your customers. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors! I wish you and your family well, and hope to soon see you around town just so I can say hello. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been a customer of New Street Barber Shop for a few years. Mark is always cordial, friendly, and easy to deal with each time I visit. I have never had a complaint with a haircut and I am sure that if I did, Mark would do whatever he could to rectify the problem. My 3 year old son now gets his haircuts there. When my son was younger and not quite a fan of getting his hair cut, Mark took the time to patiently show him the clippers, scissors, combs, etc. so he could become more familiar and comfortable each visit. Mark gives discounts for military and seniors. Would recommend.

To Jonathan C (Now changed his name to Jonny Sandtrap) Please next time use your words. If you would of asked for a scissor cut on the top then I use scissors, if you would of asked for the clippers on top then I use clippers. Also Jonathan my place isnt creepy or me. Please come back and I will refund your money. Again .... Use your words, If I would of known you were not happy, I would not of charged you. Why did you give me a 4.00 tip if it was so bad? I gave you the mirrors to check your haircut after I was finished. Learn your clipper guard numbers, that helps, then the next haircut they will know how short to take the sides.

A good barber shop is always great find and New Street Barber Shop is a great barber shop! Having had my haircut at those terrible mall locations for years made me realize just how much you appreciate having a competent barber cut after cut. Marks shop is small, friendly and inviting... a real "old fashioned" barber shop, not just another chain store. If you are anywhere near Sping City and need a GOOD haircut do yourself a favor and stop by and meet Mark. Youll really like him and youll love his work!

For me getting a haircut is an annoying chore. So when my barber retired, I wasnt sure what to do. I found New Street Barber Shop via Google Maps. I found Mark to be a competent, congenial barber who runs a clean and efficient shop. His shop is connected to his home, which is on a nice "Mayberry" like street in Spring City, a block from Rt 724. It reminded me of my Uncles barber shop in Easton. No hype, just a good haircut and a little pleasant conversation. Just what I was looking for.

Great Local Barber. Mark, is always pleasant to chat with and provides a great cut. Not sure what more you could ask for. If you are looking for a solid consistent Barber to go to ....go see Mark. If you are a diva lookin for a perm, highlights, lowlights and being manscaped....go elsewhere.
