Worst experience Ive ever had as a homeowner. NPL employees did property damage multiple times with multiple eyewitnesses. Dump truck driver drove down street with bed up, clipping power lines, attempted to turn at an intersection at which time they hit and damaged a tree on my property. Driver saw what happened and simply left, never acknowledged any damage was done. This qualifies as leaving the scene of a reportable accident. I should have called the police immediately. Talked to the crew about it the next day, didnt even get any apology. A few days later they busted out my water service while installing gas service line for Columbia Gas. I was told by NPL supervisor that the employees were routinely hungover on the job, and couldnt wait to get to the bar every night. If I had the time I would take them to court for the sheer amount of stress and anxiety they caused my fiancée and I over the time they worked on OUR property. Contractors like NPL would be wise to realize that just because theyre working on a public utility doesnt mean they arent on PRIVATE PROPERTY. Go to hell NPL.
