I went in there to get a basic male cut. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done. She looked at it for a split second and started hacking away. She shaved the hair at the points of my temples with a razor. So the hair line on the side of my head is perfectly straight from my temple to my ear. That is 1 inch of hair at the temple she cut off. Ridiculous. I have interviews this week and I look absurd.... There were several other things wrong, like around my ears was not straight and my side burns were cut crooked. Plus the fact that the hair cut she gave me looked nothing like the picture. She bascially gave me just above a buzz cut.... Then I got the bill $57 dollars for a male cut that took 15 minutes. My heart sunk into my stomach. I was blown away by the terrible hair cut and the awful service. I am still in shock that you can charge someone so much for a hair cut where u cut off part of their hairline. Do they NOT realize it will look like stuble in a day. I have a 5oclock shadow on the sides of my head. Shockingly terrible.

I used to be a client years ago, but moved about an hour away so I stopped going to Calista on a regular basis. However, they are my first choice for most salon services and I will often make the hour trip for special events. Longing for a change in style, I returned to my sylist, Gina, for a cut and color this week and, as in the past, I was thrilled. I usually just sit in her chair, tell her what Im thinking, but then ask her to just do whatever she thinks will look good. Shes never failed me yet! I highly recommend this salon! Yes...they are high-end, so their pricing is high-end. But, as with most things, you get what you pay for!

I just had the Calista Smoothing Treatment yesterday, and my stylist was Mandi. This was my first time at Calista, and all I can say is I was amazed from the moment I walked in the door. Overall, the staff are very personable and greet you kindly right away. Mandi did an awesome job. She spent a lot of time with me to discuss what would be best for my hair type, prior to the treatment. Even during the treatment, I found her to be very knowledgable about how it works on different types of hair, making me feel reassured about going through with it. Couldnt have asked for a better salon experience. Thanks Calista, and Mandi!

I have been getting my bikini area waxed for some time now, and honestly hated when i needed to have it done again. That is until i went to Shelly at Calista Grand in West Chester. It was like a whole different experience. The salon/spa could nmot have been more relaxing and the decor was remarkable.She was very fast and as pain free as possible. The second time i went, i had her wax my eyebrows too and they are perfect. I have finally found the perfect place to have all of waxings done!!

Ive struggled to find a stylist who I love & the few Ive gone back to numerous times are too far from where I live now, so I decided to give Calista a try. I am so pleased with my hair cut & my stylist even gave me some great tips on achieving the look I want. I made an appointment to get another cut before I even left! I highly recommend Karen, shes fantastic. The staff is super friendly as well.
