When I help my customers develop a preferred recruiter relationship for Top Talent & Retention, Dave McCarten and Hannah Kiley at Aerotek, Providence set the bar high. They are consummate professionals who work hard to meet my customers talent acquisition needs: Aeroteks process includes the following and more: • Thoroughly and proactively vet candidates in a way that builds their customers confidence and trust • Understand their customers purpose, culture and type of work as well as the specific job descriptions • Review and confirm resume and experiences, complete any information gaps proactively, exploring any “red flags,” and highlighting strengths prior to sending resume to HR • Interview and know their candidates so they can save HR time, sending only candidates who meet the criteria requested • Speak with direct, previous managers of the candidates about their work experience, accomplishments, attributes • Interview candidates in person • Explore candidates’ reasons for looking for a new position and explanation of why they left previous positions etc. • Provide written summary of all vetting, positive notes and considerations • Respond quickly, knowing time is valuable and opportunities are important While all recruiters know the importance of the above best practices, in my experience many do not follow these standards. Dave McCarten and Hannah Kiley have proven that they employ best practices that are essential for companies to identify top talent with the most professional, effective and efficient process.

I recently faced a layoff and was uncertain of my next move of employment. I never thought of using a recruiting company and was applying to jobs the traditional way; posting my resume to company websites and networking on LinkedIn. Charles Haskell contacted me with an opportunity that was right in my wheelhouse. He was no nonsense and to the point yet very personable. Recruiter/client face to face was relaxed and got a goof feel for my needs and skills. Wordsmithed my resume to tailor to the employers needs and received a call within the week for a first interview. Charles emailed me all the pertinent info with suggestive reading research and typical questions from past experiences with this particular client. First interview went very well due to the prep work afforded me by Charles. His follow up was consistent and I never felt he had lost track of the goal. Good experience with this office. Leah F. was really great to work with. She moved the process along, checked in with me to follow up and always responded very quickly to any questions or concerns that I had. I am very fortunate to have been able to work with her, as other similar companies just try to hit quotas and force people into jobs that they arent interested in. Any issues I had, Leah was able to help resolve - she genuinely cares and gives top quality service. Giving 4 out 5 because the receptionists were not very responsive or helpful. Some of the processes seemed unnecessary in on-boarding but that has more to do with the company overall and not specifically this office. After being with them for almost a year, my experiences with Aerotek continued to improve and became more positive.

I had been working all over the country for several years and wanted to get into a position that would allow me to remain close to my family. I sent my resume to several companies and recruiters and had very little success. It wasn’t until I contacted Aerotek in RI and Joe Lazo and Aly Jochim saw what I could deliver to their clients. They not only helped me to get into a great company, they were instrumental in providing me with insight into what the company would be expecting from me and with that information, I was better able to highlight those skills, that were more critical to interviewing team.
