Can I give less than one star? Too bad. I will never take my printing here again. I went back recently remembering a very good experience there years ago. The staff has changed. First, it took three separate days/visits to get anything done, and that means two weeks passed as I tried to find time to go into the city repeatedly. They scanned my image and didnt tweak it even slightly before emailing a proof. The proof showed my vibrant image as dull and foggy, totally unacceptable. By the second visit, I saw a proof in hand which was not great. Next came sticker shock. The project would be wildly expensive - and they were justifying part of the cost based on the work they had done on the proof! I would never have presented a client that first proof to begin with! I kept lowering my expectations so as to lower the project cost. Finally, I had to settle for fewer prints, at a very small size, and it was still expensive. It was 4:45pm on a Friday and they said they couldnt run the prints at that time. "Nothing is going to happen today," I was told. On Monday, 9:03 a.m., I called as soon as they opened to cancel the project because it was not what I wanted or could use. I felt that I was roped into the bill because I was now told that the printing was already done!!! Unbelievable. And twice they told me how my artwork should be done/printed! How rude! If I am paying tons of money, I should have the art set as I want it. I then went to Staples and, believe it or not, in one day, two trips (drop off and pick up two hours later), the print technician there did a fabulous job at a fraction of the cost - and I got exactly what I had originally wanted - without attitude.

Allegra took 6 months to get my business cards wrong. Allegra did not deliver my business cards on time for an important event. I never heard that the work was complete. I ordered them again. I heard nothing from Allegra for 6 months. Then the owner told me the cards had been ready for 6 months and threatened that he was going to send a collection agency to get me to pay if I didnt give him my credit card number. I paid for the cards. Then I realized Allegra had misspelled my business name, website address, and contact email on the buisness cards.

I am often in need of quality print and output and fast turnaround. The people at Allegra are professionals and totally understand printing. They are helpful to recommend efficient ways to get the best bang for the buck while maintianing quality. They have a wide variety of services from offset printing to full color digital, large fromat and full bindery capabilities. I print brochures, manuals, business cards, stationery and signs at Allegra. They always do a top notch job. They are my go to printer for all my needs.

SO RUDE! I went in to get my thesis printed and ended up going Alpha Graphics (way nicer and super fast!) based on the service. I dont usually give much thought to this kind of thing, but the guy was such a jerk. He treated me like a retard and acted like any question I had about paper choice, sizing or price was a huge pain for him answer. At one point he even told me that math wasnt my strong point. So unprofessional. Watch out for the bald tan creep with folds of neck fat.

Allegra did a beautiful job with a 70 page book that I just did. The print quality is high and the customer service is very very high. One part of the shipment got lost by the United States Postal Service and Ted Stein patiently did detective work to find out what had happened to the lost box. I have done numerous cards with them but the book is the most ambitious project yet and they just did a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

I had a better experience at American Blueprint Co. right around the corner. They are a small shop but can handle a lot of odd jobs. The guys told me to call or email whenever I had a request and they would do the best to get done right away, and they did!!!!!! Way better prices too.......
