I only give them one star because I cant give them zero. Around six years ago, I was involved in an accident (not my fault), and Elgin Williamson towed the car. Because they also did collision repair, I went ahead and let them fix the car. What a mistake. Originally, when I went to pick up the car, I noticed that the side mirror wasnt fixed at all; when I asked about it, they said it was broken when it got there. Oh, really...imagine that...the mirror was broken when you towed it...you know, AFTER the accident. They agreed to fix it only after I complained, but said it would take a while to get the new part. Well, because they were taking so long, the insurance company quit paying for my rental car. When I mentioned this to Elgin Williamson and told them I needed my car as soon as possible, they apologized for taking so long and said they would pay for whatever extra charges come from the rental car company, since it was their fault. They ended up taking another two weeks or so to finish the work, resulting in a bill from the rental car company of around $300. They never paid for this, and it was charged on my credit card. I called repeatedly to Elgin Williamson, who basically said they never agreed to pay for the rental car, and that I was making everything up. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!! They took forever to fix my car and ended up screwing me over to the tune of $300. To top it all off, about six months after getting my car back, my side mirror (the same mirror they supposedly fixed) broke. When I looked at the mirror, you could tell that it had just been glued together. So, not only did they take forever to fix the car, they ended up defrauding my insurance company by saying they put in a new mirror, when all they did was basically glue it together. Real classy. Dont make the same mistake I did, folks; there are plenty of other companies out there who really do what they say and are honest.

Paid 3300 to have my 67 impala painted and body work done... Hellen Keller could have painted my car painted my better. The paint is chipping off of my car 3 months later and has orange peel all over it. These guys are garbage. Also after all the body work they backed into something and damaged all the rear end of my car and denied they did it. Close the doors and shut down the shop. This place is a hoax. Im disgusted. They turned a classic car into an embarrassment. Pedro doesnt know how to run a business and the only people who gave this 5 stars are the people who work here. Dont believe me? Go and see the lady at the front desk her name is on this review

I have used Elgin-Williamson for several of my vehicles that needed repair. They have always gone above and beyond what I have found any other body shop in town to be and usually at much lower rates. They are local, family owned, honest, and down to earth to work with. Pedro, Billie, Claudia and family are awesome people and my cars and companys cars always come back properly repaired and looking better than they did before they were wrecked..

They had my car for 12 days..it took.way to long for repairs then it should have. also my door and window is still broken. it sounds like its going to fall off. also my front left drivers side down at my tire, sounds like there is something wrong. while im driving down the road my left side tire scrubs and makes an awful noise. these damages were promise to be fix and now im still left unhappy.

Elgin-Williamson fixed my car after I sideswiped my own garage (oops!). The rear drivers side door was banged up really bad. The office staff was very helpful, and I did not need an appointment to have an estimate made. They were able to fix it up, good as new. Too bad they couldnt do the same for the side of my garage!

I have had several cars fixed over the years at Elgin Williamson. They have fair rates on towing and contacted the insurance company for me and helped me to get the claim started. I would highly recommend using them for any of your needs.
