A lot of thought and prayers must have been put into the building of this facility. From the small chapel as you walk in the front door on your left, conference room, childrens space, canteen, the lighting which gives an open outdoors feeling in the pool area. sauna, steam room, whirlpool, special needs shower rooms, locker room areas to accommodate adults and children. ball courts, walking track, different kinds of work-out equipment, and programs. outside recreation field, and childrens play area. inside and out is well maintained. staff is friendly and helpful. KUDOS!

So close to a 4-star... first off, Y Camp was no fun at all and I hated every single second of it. Great pool area, staff are pretty good. Second off, WHY WERE THOSE TWO WOMEN FROM THE DAYCARE FIRED!?!? THEY WERE GREAT! WHAT DID THEY DO WRONG? THE YMCA FIRED TWO GREAT STAFF MEMBERS EVEN THOUGH THOSE TWO INNOCENT LADIES DID NOTHING WRONG. GOOD JOB, GUYS. Anyway. The YMCA is a pretty good place, but there are several flaws.

I used to go to AnyTime Fitness. This is better. Elevated running track, a huge variety of weight equipment, easily 30 treadmills with TVs, handball courts, two massive pools and a huge hot tub, spinning room, and more. Even first-rate showers, great staff... This is a great place, highly recommended.

We joined for the pool. Everytime we go the Life guards are very rude. They made fun of and laughed at my son. They refuse to turn on the water slide. I am cancelling my membership Monday morning. Too much money to pay and all they do is bully your child.

Absolutely beautiful new building. All new equipment, excellent swimming pools, complete fitness center, A new fitness center... Home away from home. A whole day of enjoyment is easily done at the new "Y"! Thumbs up for Spartanburg! Annie
