THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! THese are the most unfriendly, rude people I have ever encountered. I wish I had read previous reviews before I made an appointment. I was looking for a new stylist and came across them on the web. I called and they told me they could get me in at 10AM that following Saturday. I walked in on time and not knowing there were two different entrances, apparently walked into their work space. Everyone stopped and stared at me and no one said hello or told me where to go to sign in. I finally spotted the other entrance and made my way over there to tell them I was there for an appointment. They proceeded to tell me that my appointment was at 9AM and that someone had called me the morning of (which they had not) and I knew my appointment was at 10 b/c I wrote it down on the same sheet w/my directions. Okay, so mix ups happen but it was their mistake and instead of an apology or a "what can we do to make this up to you??", I got EXTREME ATTITUDE!!! They did not accomodate me to try to work anything out and when I responded by saying I wasnt interested in returning to the salon, the girl actually said "well, whatever, I dont really care" with a snotty smirk on her face. I dont know who these people think they are but this is a hole in the wall salon that didnt look particularly impressive and no matter HOW it looked, the fact that they would treat a new prospective client with such disrespect is SHOCKING. I turned to her and said "WHATEVER? Thats your customer service??" and she turned and said "BYE" and I walked out. I have never been treated so poorly and I too, am from NYC as the last reviewer and I am in the music industry and give referrals all the time and I plan to spread the word that these people are mean and nasty. To top it all off I got a nasty message from the person that had made the appointment with me saying since I didnt show up, they wouldnt rebook me and they lost money because of me. Well, maybe if they had gotten the time right and treated me with an ounce of respect, it woudlnt have come to this.

This salon has the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced. After making an appointment 2 weeks in advance, I showed up at this salon for a cut and color. A stylist (and maybe manager) proceeded to tell me that my stylist quit 2 weeks ago and they have no one to help me. Considering I was never notified, I should have been upset. But the thing that actually upset me was that this person refused to accomodate me in any way including making an appointment for another time in the future, in addition to his attitude. He had the audacity to project his attitude onto me, and then "not appreciate" my reaction which was completely professional. Being from New York City, and having gone to MANY salons in my time, I never expected to experience such attitude from a little hole in the wall establishment like the Edge in Brentwood, TN. This guy also said that they were losing business because this particular stylist quit, when in fact their loss of business is in direct relation to their customer service or lack there of. I hope all Tennessee salons are not like this.

I love the Edge Salon!!!! Im not sure who is writing these reviews.. but they in no way reflect the service my husband and I receive visiting the Edge in Brentwood. Bill does amazing work, particularly if you are looking for the most natural looking extensions ever! Everyone is shocked to learn I have them! Bill also cuts my husbands hair and does any amazing job! They are kind and accomodating and fit me in even when I call last minute... if you want a Salon that becomes more like family, try the Edge! I also went here for my wedding and my whole wedding party got their hair done.. my girl friends STILL talk about what a great experience it was and wish they lived in Nashville so they could come here on a regular basis!

I have lived in Chicago and New York City. This salon gives the same cutting edge styles and service as any big city salon. I found this salon by accident and I am so happy I did. I have one stylist I see, Erin, but have had services with others and they never fail. Ive been going for awhile now and appreciate the retro style, music and sincerity of the owners. They truly want you to feel beautiful when leaving their salon. I saw some bad reviews and chalk it up to people that probably are never happy anyway and like to complain, as this salon, its owners and stylists are 10 stars.

In my first meeting with Bill, he took his time with explaining their services and what I could expect from them. I was soon paired with Shay Garrett and have stayed with her as my stylist at the salon. She is not only sweet, but her experience with extensions has changed my look and life! I love these guys and they have a variety of services and trained professionals to help you with what ever your beauty needs are! Great location, easy to get scheduled and their VIP client list is extensive. The combined experience of the staff is impressive.

I cant believe how managable my hair is after Amanda gave me an Brazilian Blowout. She also has colored my hair and I love all the different colors. The products that the Edge Salon uses on coloring makes my hair so soft. Guess what question I got from several people?? Are you a hairdresser??? Your hair looks GREAT!! I will drive from KY anytime to get my hair done now. Amanda takes her time and also wants to know what you want done and freely gives her expert advise and I love the Brentwood location and their decor. See ya soon!!

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hair salon. First the cut and color were sub par, but when I looked at my bank account several days after my appointment I noticed they had over charged me. When I called and talked to the manager and explained what happened he told me that if I was the kind of person who was upset about being overcharged then I was not the kind of person they wanted at their salon anyway. Point taken. I wont be back. He did refund the amount I was overcharged.

I personally had an excellent experience!! When I checked in, I was greeted by the girl behind the counter with a very friendly demeanor. She immediately asked if I would like something to drink, and chatted with me while I waited for my appointment time. Amanda does great work, and always has the best attitude! I always look forward to getting my hair done, knowing that I will leave with a cut/color that I LOVE!

I called and left a message to find out about their hair extensions. I was very impressed by Bill calling me back and discussing the extensions in detail with me. I need my hair corrected. I will be updating my post after my appointment. I am very happy with the experience so far.
