My stylist was Pamela and she did an amazing job. I only went in for a hair cut and thinning but the overall result was more than amazing. She was friendly and very knowledgeable, the phone rang at one point but she didnt leave me to answer the phone. She stayed and took her time to do the haircut. After, having horrible hair cuts in a salon inside base. I have found my stylist here at appearances Salon. The room is comfortable and I loved My end result. She did take a good amount of time on my hair but cut it correctly and was very thorough, I have very thick hair and porous but when I left their I felt very content without much weight on head after the thinning of my hair. Fabulous hairstylist, after three years I found the perfect salon and I would recommend it to anyone else. To avoid any timing issue I would suggest to call and make an appointment with ample amount of time before closing. This will help the stylist to dedicate the time she or he needs on your hair.

Kathy Smith is my hair guru, my hair whisperer, and, on some occasions,my hair miracle worker! She has been cutting, coloring, highlighting, and styling my hair for over 10 years. Kathy is friendly, keeps up with the trends, and takes pride in her work. If you come in with a crazy idea, theres a good chance she can hook you up...but if she thinks it looks better in your imagination than it will on you, she will be up front and honest. I am being totally honest when I say I feel like a million bucks when I leave Kathys chair. And, again, in all honesty, I have NEVER left the salon and not gotten a compliment about my hair. Seriously, strangers stop me and tell me how great my hair looks. I love me some Kathy Smith! And when she washes my hair....oh my goodness! It just feels good!

As someone who is new to town, I was hesitant about going to a new salon. I read reviews of various salons/hairdressers from around here and decided to go to Appearances. Overall, Im pleased with the cut and color. However, I wont be going back. My stylist was trash talking a previous client while I was in the chair. She left so much dye on my face. I asked her to try again to get more off; I still had to go home and scrub my face. She also did not completely dry my hair. From now on, Ill be making the six hour round trip to my former hairdresser. Shes a LOT cheaper and I didnt have any of these issues.

This is an amazing salon! I am so thankful to have found Appearances and Tara. All of the girls are Redken certified stylists and are so friendly. The prices are fantastic and the end result is phenomenal. I have never gotten up from Taras chair and been disappointed. I trust her completely and most of the time just let her do what she thinks will look best. I love this place!

My stylist, Cynthia, is absolutely amazing. Im never disappointed when I leave there and shes so friendly! I always thought this salon would be too expensive for me (Ive always went to budget stylists), but they are very affordable! Never tried doing a walk-in appointment before, so Id suggest calling ahead because the stylists make their own schedules.

This place is AMAZING! it is not a very "formal" salon but it is so homey and pleasant. I had Michelle as my stylist and she did an AMAZING job. The pricing is amazing....30 dollars for a wash, cut, and style!!! She did an amazing job and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Will DEFINITELY be going back!

I needed to fix a very bad color. In the others salon, they all het the idea I was of one color and at the and it turned into redish..Nut in this salon the understand, checked and they have make my color just a tone more dark, is perfect. I feel again good, sexy. Thank you so much!

They were able to take me within an hour of calling, and Pam Austin did a wonderful job of giving me the cut and style I was wanting with little direction from me. Price ran between $30-$35 for a shampoo, cut and style.

Paid $200 for highlights. Turned out with streaks of terrible color in my hair. Stylist wasnt even impressed with her own work, said the soonest she could fix it is in 2 days.
