I hired a general contractor to come out and do a renovation on an investment property I purchased. They had Jolly Roofing come out to inspect the roof and propose work that needed to be done to get it in 100% condition along with a timeline of when the repairs would be completed. After being scheduled to come out several times with no one showing up, they finally came and supposedly did the work which cost me $13,750. After being paid, it rained and a pretty bad leak appeared ruining walls that I had just had painted and running into the new floors I had just put down. Conveniently, they said the issue wasnt in the original scope of work even though the scope of work was supposed to include anything that needed to be addressed to get the roof in 100% condition. After much back and forth, they finally agreed to come out and try and repair the leak. The same thing happened with no one showing up when they were scheduled. I finally had to call the manager to complain just to get someone to come out. They showed up that day and supposedly repaired the leak. Fast forward a few months later, we have a really heavy rain and the same leak appears but much, much worse. I call them around noon on a Friday and am told it would be Monday before they can get to it. Monday comes and goes and I hear nothing. I go by the property to find the leak has gotten worse causing mold and ruining my walls, floors and baseboards all of which are new. I take and send pictures and receive an immediate response stating it will be addressed first thing in the morning. 3 days go by and I hear nothing so I call someone else to come out only to find that water is pouring down the wall behind the sheetrock. I email the same person telling them I think the way they do business is awful and that I had someone else dependable come out and take care of the issue they were supposed to have fixed. I received a snarky response stating he was glad I found someone else and that I was on the schedule for that day. How can you schedule a job without speaking to the person who needs the job done? How would they have gotten in the unit? His excuse for not getting to it sooner was because we had just had 12 inches of rain and they were busy. I understand that and wasnt asking them to come out immediately. I was simply wanting to know when they were coming! I was left sitting there almost an entire week with no word as to if and when they were coming, meanwhile the damage is getting worse and worse each day. Now, I must get a lawyer involved because I paid them to do a job that didnt get done and am now having to pay another company to do the same job I already paid them to do. Please, save yourself time and money and go with someone else.

Look into getting a new receptionist. Youll lose a lot of business with that kind of disrespect on your end of the phone.
