DO NOT RECOMMEND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Ad says 24 Hour Service. They LEFT my property at 5pm on a Friday night, with 33,000 (that was THIRTY THREE THOUSAND) gallons of water under my house and a leak in a pipe under a concrete slab. They were told in advance that it was galvanized pipe leaking. They said they charge $200 to fix galvanized. When they showed up they indicated that they ONLY install PEX. Pex is a plastic, flexible water system. It is horrible. It makes the water have a taste. It deteriorates over time. The ONLY water system to use is COPPER and the idea that a plumbing company DOES NOT install copper AT ALL is absolutely horrifying. The plumber that showed up had to stop and call his boss at every step. I wanted him to come under the house with me and look at the pipes....he had to call his boss. I asked him to cut the pipe and stop the water flow. He had to call his boss. I asked him how much he was charging me. He had to call his boss. I asked him to FIX IT and he REFUSED. He said "Its 5pm on Friday night and we are not equipped to do this right now. You need to call your insurance company and see what they can do." Then he drove off with water pouring out under my house. You are reading this correctly. They did nothing. They were unable to install or work with galvanized OR copper piping. They were incapable of independent thought and left me wet at 5pm rather than do the job. They demonstrated belligerence and a complete lack of sympathy for my situation. AND they lacked the proper equipment or supplies to fix the problem in the first place. What needed to be done was to cut and cap the pipe and run a new line up a wall and over the slab roof and back down the other side. This was obvious and I TOLD them this. But they didnt have the pipe, or copper, or a torch, or anything other than flexible plastic pipe. Keep in mind that every time a flexible piping system that joins with plastic adapters and crimps gets approved for use.....it FAILS a few years later and gets unapproved for use. This has happened EVERY time that a flexible, crimp system has been approved. EVERYONE knows that copper is the material of choice. It is durable, has no taste, and has natural antibiotic properties. These guys are not even skilled in copper installation. It is completely, totally, unbelievable. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

After using Cookeville Plumbing & Electric before several times in the past for larger jobs I justified their price. I called them because the switch to the closet was bad and a plug and was charged $196.00 for less than 15 minutes of work. When you have to rip off the loyal costumer..........you lose them forever.

Did great work, on time and as promised. Used quality fixtures and the work was done the right way. Even stood behind the work of someone they referred us to, whos work damaged their installation. I will use them again!
