We noticed seepage through the concrete block wall of our basement and called Hiller at approximately 9pm on 8/14/201 - Monday evening. We called Hiller because they advertised being open 24 hours. The receptionist offered to have a crew report to our home by 11pm, but we decided to wait until Tuesday morning and Kurt arrived on time at 11am on Tuesday morning. Within 20 minutes, Kurt had accurately diagnosed the problem..... a slow leak in the main water line coming into the house from the city meter. Kurt immediately called Shane who arrived within 30 minutes and gave us an estimate to repair the problem. We accepted the estimate and Shane made arrangements for Chris and Johnny to start repair work at 1pm the same day..... Tuesday, 8/15. Chris and Johnny arrived on time and started work immediately at 1pm. The weather did not cooperate as Johnny and Chris persevered through a constant rainstorm and dug hoes required to find the city meter and the entry hole into our house. The hole required to find the city meter was almost 4 deep but Johnny and Chis worked all afternoon to complete the digging and install a new waterline into our house. Needless to say, Johnny and Chris were muddy from head to toe, but they took great care and managed to come in and out of the house without making a mess. I looked out one time and Chris body was head first halfway down the hole at the city meter with Johnny holding his legs..... it was a messy job. They worked tirelessly outside until approximately 6pm..... 5 hours in the rain and mud. Then, they came inside and finished the plumbing work inside our house. They finished the work at approximately 7pm.....cleaned up......picked up their tools and went home. Their white shirts, faces, arms, and hands were covered in mud.....they really put in 6 long tough hours to fix our problem. We really appreciated their perseverance, patience, and attention to working expeditiously without making a mess. Kurt returned to our house Wednesday morning at approximately 8:30am to review the work and complete a minor plumbing task. Our experience with Hiller was excellent and we will definitely consider them again for emergencies or routine plumbing jobs. Kurts work was timely, fast, accurate, and professional. Shanes work was timely, fast, easily understood, and professional. Chris and Johnnys efforts were timely, focused, professional, and performed diligently under some adverse conditions. We appreciate this team solving our problem. It was a pleasant experience after encountering a leak which could have caused significant damage had we not been lucky enough to notice the leak relatively early and been fortunate to have the Hiller team respond quickly. Thank you guys !

Jason with the Cookeville Hiller came out to our house several months ago when a toilet that needed repairs also started leaking. He did a great job answering all my questions and explaining the different options I had to address the issues. When our water heater went out earlier this week, I was happy to recognize Jason when he arrived at our house. He quickly found multiple issues with the water heater as well as evidence that the previous owner had made repairs to the same areas to keep the water heater limping along. After discussing the pros, cons, and viability of the repair/rebuild/replace options, he set about writing up quotes for each and called out Anthony a project manager to give me a quote on upgrading to a tankless water heater. They both clearly presented all the options to me and asked multiple times if there were any other questions they could answer. Later in the afternoon/evening, my husband and I agreed to the tankless update and called Hiller with our answer. Bright and early the next morning, Jason was back at my house to start work on replacing the water heater. Part way through the day, Hiller sent out Chris and Johnny to help. The three of them are great. Cracking jokes with each other and me while at the same time doing excellent work. I never thought watching a water heater be replaced would be half so entertaining. As funny as they were, they were also serious about their work and pointed out to me several issues with the plumbing that could be future problems. Things the home inspector didnt catch when we bought the home several months ago. At the end of the day, I was happy to shake each of them by the hand and thank them for their hard work.

Just finished with my plumbing tune up. First I received a call telling me when the tech would be heading this way. When the man arrived he pleasantly greeted us and introduced himself. We did a tour and he went off to work. Bjord Haaland was the service tech. He did a step by step thru everything and took the time to explain everything in detail to make my understanding much greater. He was polite and very pleasant and the most knowledgeable plumber I have found over here in Crossville area. I am very pleased with my service and even more pleased with Bjord as he did the complete job he was sent to do. I will be requesting only him in the future for all my plumbing needs. Thank you for having him on your staff. If all the treatment, knowledge and information that I receive from your company is as great as this mornings then I am going to be very, very happy even if they find something wrong. After my discussion with Bjord about the pipes, I purchased the Hiller Happy drain cleaner. See I am the one who dug up the drains to the septic originally as all the pipes were broken and I cleaned up all that gunk filling 5 gallon pails with handfuls of yuk that resembled rancid Crisco. . I know he is not selling me something that is no good. I remember being livid that people would dump so much grease down their sinks when come to find out its just the everyday stuff that people use that goes down there and clogs it all up making it seem like rancid Crisco. I recommend everyone purchase the cleaner as the gunk that clogs up your pipes is really nasty. I am a very satisfied customer. Linda Kondrach

We had 2 jobs completed. First we had our entire electrical system updated with a newer, much larger capacity circuit breaker box put in. They also had to run a 220 volt wire for our new steam humidifier. Jalon, Gabriel and Peppers completed the electrical project. They did an outstanding job making sure we were up to code. They took care of calling CEMC to get the electricity turned off and than on again when they were finished. They also had the codes inspector come and sign off on the job. We didnt have to do anything. Danny H., David S., James S., Nathan S. and Jason installed the humidifier. They also did an outstanding job. All of these Hiller men are experts in their fields. They are also very nice, and they want you completely satisfied with their work. Jason decided we need a larger canister for our humidifier than the one that came with it, and hes already ordered the bigger canister. They gave us the option of having the humidistat installed on the humidifier, or on the wall next to our thermostat. We completely trust their work, and the information they give us. They are all top notch at what they do. We use them for all of our heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical work. And were 100% satisfied with every job they do. They all go out of their way to do things right ,and make sure the client is satisfied with everything.
