I am writing this review for my mother, she was the primary contact with the home for my grandfathers funeral. From the very first meeting with Mr. Canale, he displayed a discomforting air of dominance and distance completely opposing what is needed in this time. There were multiple misunderstandings throughout the process resulting in an open casket service which, was mildly distressing to family members, as it was not what was requested. The home is beautiful, and the environment was calm, but ultimately the staff, led by Mr. Canale himself, did not adequately listen to the familys needs and made the experience feel transactional, rushed, and unpleasant.

I hope others learn from our costly mistake involving Canale Funeral Directors!! COMPLETE RIPOFF! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!! They feed off of the mourning and will drain your bank account if you allow them too!! Ford Canale is a crook that will look you in the eye and swindle you while you mourn!! We paid $3500 for cremation through this company and later discovered we could have had identical services performed for less than $800 with the same crematory!! We confronted Ford by asking him how he slept at night by ripping people off. With a grin he responded "I sleep very well at night, you called me."

The worst funeral home in the land and RACIST at that! Would never recommend to anyone! Rude staff period....do not know how to deal with clients.
