My grandson was at a pre-school previously that called us and let us know that they were closing and it was effective THAT day, so they recommended Barfield, Barfield did not have room at the time and referred us to their sister facility. After about a month Barfield had room for my grandson. Things went well for about the first two months, however, about 3 weeks ago they started calling and having us come pick him up for disruptive behavior. Now, I know this is OUR grandson and no one thinks their kids/grandkids are "bad", but we never had any issues from the other schools. My husband went twice to pick up our grandson and he observed approximately 50 kids in one room with one teacher and he said they ALL were going crazy and being disruptive. I have noticed on several occasions several kids and only one teacher. I have also "overheard" conversations from staff saying they were understaffed. As I said, we do not observe this behavior from him and we have had no issues from other schools, only this one. I am very dissatisfied, I believe there are too many children and not enough teachers. I also noticed at the other schools he was coming home almost daily with a new thing he had learned, until THIS school. I do not normally give negative ratings but IF you love your children WATCH this place.

I had a very bad experience there. It was my daughters first time at any daycare facility. So I was quite hesitant and watchful of the place. The people who worked there were not personable. Seemed grouchy and irritated at all times. They look like they were definitely just there for a paycheck. Their director seemed to only be there when it was time to pay tuition. Thats the only time I got a nice vibe from them. Which was so wrong. Everytime I picked up my daughter her glasses were always filthy and she would cry a lot. Her teacher would always say oh she had a great day. Which was clearly a false. Their menu, they rarely followed through with what they posted they would be serving the children. Just had a bad experience and my daughter was not there long at all.

We love Barfield Academy! My daughter is in he Pre-k class and has excelled tremendously!!! I have no doubts when it comes to her starting kindergarten. She is definitely ready and that is all thanks to Barfield! The staff is very friendly and we absolutely love her teacher, Ms. Kristy! Management is always kind and welcoming! Great communication and recommend you give them a visit! We definitely will miss Barfield once we leave for kindergarten!

Horrible place! In need of new management!! I have never had people be more rude to me in my life. They may seem nice at first, but its all an act. Plus, what they charge you for tuition is not worth it at all! Id advise parents who can to take their children somewhere else.

My wife and I had our reservations about placing our little one in childcare. This place exceeded all of our expectations. They actively engaged our child and he was always treated well and cared for. He really enjoys going everyday.

I had a good experience at this facility. My son was well cared for and Happy. They also have good extracurricular activities planned for the children. I would recommend this place to anyone I know. Thanks
