First off, I wish I could leave 4.5 STARS. I never give anyone a perfect rating because every company has something they can improve on. Overall, I was very pleased with the work done by The House Painters. The owner, Brendon, made himself over and beyond flexible and available for both our painting needs as well as our numerous questions. His painters always arrived on time and did the job they were paid to do. Our painter was polite and his workmanship on our walls was superb. For my only constructive criticism, let me first say this is the first time I have had a professional painter do any work for me. There is a chance I have a lack of understanding in expectations. That said, the job was quoted at a 1.5-2 day job and it was completed in 1 day. The painter left that day and there were a couple of places (2 on the counter and one on the floor) where paint had been dripped and not noticed or cleaned up by the painter. Also, the painter did some patchwork to a few small holes in the rooms he painted where we had previously hung pictures, clocks, etc. On the floor and counter, around some of these places the painter left residual dry wall debris from where he had sanded. The expedited completion of the paint job could have resulted from a lack of the painter doing the job and not fully cleaning up after himself. After the painter had completed the job, Brendon contacted me and asked about my satisfaction, to which I explained and took pictures of the said issues. Without hesitation he told me he would have the painter out first thing in the morning to correct all problems and make it right. In addition, we were unsatisfied with the color in one of the rooms (we picked this paint color out ourselves so the fault with the color lies solely with us). I informed Brendon of this and he guided me in picking out another color that would work, quoted me a price to redo that specific room, and had his painter back out the very next morning to address all my concerns. I should add that all this was happening via text at 8 or 9 pm at night!!! It seems many of our conversations through email or text would go beyond "normal business hours" because he wants his customers to get a professional paint job that meets their expectations as well as provide exceptional customer service. Although it may appear my “complaints” seem to be greater in length than my praises, I only mean them to be of the constructive nature. Overall, The House Painters are a great choice for your painting needs and will go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied with final product. We will use them again in the future for all painting needs.

I hired this company to paint the exterior siding and trim of my two story brick house. The painters were very courteous and professional. They gave a 2 1/2 day work estimate. This included power washing the exterior and painting. They showed up the next day and spent 3 hrs cleaning the exterior. They then left and I didnt see them again for four days. The second time they arrived, they spent 30 mins attempting to paint. Declared that it was too windy and left. They called a couple of days later and said they were on their way to finish the job and then never showed up. Three days later they showed up, worked for four hours and left. At this point the house was half painted. They called again four days later and again said they would be out that day and finish the job. Again, they never showed up. Two days later they arrived at 8 in the morning and worked until noon. They declared the job finished and left. The finished paint job is one of the worst I have ever seen. If they couldnt paint it with a spray gun then it didnt get painted. Also if it was in an area that no one could see it, they didnt paint it. I dont think they ever used a brush. I have counted a dozen unpainted spots just on the lower level. They used less than four gallons of paint to do the entire job. The paint is so thin in some places that you can see through it. I dont think they ever wiped the surface clean. They just sprayed over the dirt and bugs. There is also an unacceptable amount of over spray onto the brick and the concrete walkways. They just left it, they made no attempt to clean it off. When they sprayed the front door trim, they spray painted the front door bell. Really! It would have taken 30 seconds to tape it off. Instead they ruined it. Start to finish it was 15 days to complete this project. I never knew when they would show up, or not show up. I paid top dollar for a very poor paint job. I have attempted to phone them to have them come back and correct these issues, but the calls go unanswered and have not been returned. I will never use them again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND them. UPDATE: This has now become a civil lawsuit. Stay away from these guys. They are not professional painters.

These reviews are complete B.S , I think they must have paid someone to right them all considering they are all from (google users ) yeah ok , and considering the fact that they all pretty much say the same thing in the same style of writing very interesting . Well I called this company based on its reviews under a google search in nashville . Yes the website is correct a kiwi did call me back and scheduled and appointment to come give mea quote on repainting my victorian home in Nashville . The guy shows up 30 min late and gets out of a van and looks like he hasnt showers in months , with neck tattoos , long nasty hair , beard that hasnt been washed or cut in months , He smelled like liquor and weed , just a real class act , this guy has to be the most un professional person I have ever met in my life from the initial meeting to the end just rude , over priced , tried to brag about jobs he doesnt even have booked yet , and his buddy who come with has chipped teeth and tries to play the good guy , this is a real clown show operation they are running so PLEASE dont be fooled by some reviews on the internet 40 plus reviews been in business for not even a year ? and not one negative all above and beyond yeah right nice try ,"The house Painters " what a joke ...So to sum up my impression of this company is simple , If you want to be robbed and have drugs on your property by a fly by night company who purchased a web site for $ 300 and paid someone 250 to write reviews for them , and deal with an arrogant , non green card holding moron then call away , or maybe you can just hire them for pure entertainment as the east nashville circus pulls into your drive way ,

Update: The company has provided me with a partial refund for a fair price both parties agreed to. I dont even know where to start. I paid a few THOUSAND dollars thinking I was going to get an amazing paint job but I guess that was too much to ask from a professional painter. They are about to come out for the THIRD time to "fix" all the mistakes they made the first time. Workers were completely disrespectful even going as far as leaving their drinks in my fridge after they were supposedly done and leaving lights on in rooms they werent supposed to be in. As for the paint job itself, I have paint on my hardwoods, paint on almost every doorframe in the house and thats just whats getting fixed the third time. On one doorframe during the second "fix" visit, they covered up the gray paint they got on my doorframe with spots of white paint...my doorframes at off-white. Even when they are fixing errors they are messing up. Originally, they left huge spots where the old paint color was coming through, painted a wall the wrong color and instead of taking off light switch covers, either painted over them or left a nice line around the edges of the old paint. My bar was painted the wrong color and when they came back to paint it the right color they were obviously rushing through as the wrong color was showing through all the edges. There was also paint on the edge of my tile backsplash. If I wanted gray paint on off-white frames and lack of clean lines, I could have painted it myself and saved the costs.
