First, they only sent half my first (& now ONLY) order, with no notation that a second box would be coming. Then , looking at the pens I had ordered, based on a model they sent as an advertisement, and spending WAY too much time placing my order, & explaining REPEATEDLY the exact description of the pen they sent~the model I was ordering, they STILL sent the wrong model! In ANY business, if you are going to the trouble of personalizing an object to entice new business, you keep a record of what was sent, for 2 major reasons: to know what models are getting a response & resulting in an order that increases your clientele & to make sure you send the correct model. What was sent was a design of pen Id never seen before, a stylus at the end where the ball point of the pen is, & with 1 click, the stylus opens enough for the actual ball point of pen to come thru. Pens with stylus at 1 end & writing part at the other have already saturated the design. This was something new, and being a new business, ordered that to accompany advertisement~ giving subliminal message that my boutique business was also creating things that were new~not the items they could purchase anywhere. What I received was a plain pen, no stylus AT ALL! After spending 45 minutes on phone to (apparently completely inept employee), repeatedly (Im talking at minimum 25 times!!) repeatedly describing exactly which model I was ordering (which, if this business had any knowledgable leadership, should have immediately brought up a file for my business, especially since it was personalized, & they have the audacity to charge $15 for type set up FOR EVERY TIME AN ORDER IS PLACED!! It would be understandable for that to be a 1 time fee, then keeping info, so if/when a repeat order was placed, theyd be able to pull up the file & reuse info. Instead, they charge every time for set up-as seen with paperwork that came with my completely wrong order, & offering to extend the sale price of pens, but buried in the SMALL PRINT, is the fact that they are going to charge for set-up AGAIN!! That is not only a POOR business practice, it exposes their greed & lack of concern for their clientele. To add insult to injury, the first wrong pen order arrived on a Saturday, they are only open Mon. Thru Fri. So could not call, but did send a detailed email, which was over a week ago & have yet to receive a response. The second box arrived yesterday. Had hope that MAYBE in lui of contacting me in response to email, they were sending the corrected order. NOPE~ what did arrive was the other half of original order, again with wrong model. This time I called the customer "service", explaining in detail what had happened. Gave him order #, customer ID #, & 2 other identifying #s that were on sheet accompanying the wrong order. Even after giving him all 4 numbers, he pulled up on his computer screen the WRONG COMPANY!!! He left me on hold to "check something" over 3 different times, the average holding time for EACH time was over 7 minutes apiece!!! Repeatedly describing to him, the pens I had ordered, which he should have already had, he repeatedly told me he needed the number that could only be found on paperwork accompanying the pen that was sent, UNSOLICITED, which, after placing my order, had despised of. Had they mentioned on that paperwork to keep it in the event of them completely blowing my initial order, in case they made a mistake, I would have done so. It should be mentioned, that on paperwork -~ every piece of paperwork, was written "No risk, satisfaction guaranteed. Of course, to have that happen, they require customer to pay for return shipping!!!! After spending close to an hour with this inept, untrained, "customer service?????" Rep, became so frustrated with his inability to correct things ( which included the fact that were I to "choose" to have order corrected, I would AGAIN be charged a $15 dollar typeset fee~ even though it was THEIR mistake!! It was at this point I told this bumbling fool (& that is being generous in the description!

I ordered 2 items from National Pens. I was told that the items take 24-48 hours to produce and then depending on shipping I would receive the items in 5 business days or so. 11 days later I was still being told that the items are still in production. And not be cheated by their phone call back system either. I never received a call back even 25 mins after- from the Co. after completing the necessary details & being told by the automated system that someone will call back. Dont order from this Co. It will be a major waste of your time.....unless you have a lot of time on your hands to followup and be on hold for hour at a time. I called back 25 mins later and explained to the rep. the situation. When I asked to talk to a supervisor they placed me on hold for 20 mins. Then they wanted 4 more days before I receive my order. So for what I was promised 5-7 business days would have taken 15 days. So if you have all the time and resource for substandard service...go ahead and order from them.

Ordered 100 pens and 250 note pads. 30 of the pens had to be returned because of the quality of the printing. Not too bad, I was able to live with it and get replacement pens. But I finally got the note pads a month later and was very disappointed. There was to be a bullet separating the 2 business numbers. What was actually on the note pads instead was a question mark (?). Could not believe it!!! Called and requested a refund. Sent the order back the same day, which they received in 2 days and 6 days later than that I still have no refund. I did however receive a bill from them wanting more money due to an "over shipment". Over shipment???? I didnt count the note pads just sent them back. They make a mistake on the order and supposedly "over ship" and they wanted me to pay for their mistake??? I guess they gotta hit their quota somehow. I will never use National Pen for anything!!! Giving them a 1 just because there is nothing lower.

what a waste of life. , thats not even my last name anymore. also, when the pen runs out of ink, you cant change the cartridge, so whats the point? to get people to carry your pen so they remember you??really, if all you have to remember from someone is a pen with their name on it, they must either be facebook people who only want your money to sell you their products,or still.. only want your money, waste of time, im throwing mine out, im 61 and to me this is a BIG waste of money. sorry.not to mention, i dont even OWN a business, this guy just wants lots of money for the least amount of effort on his part, not good , thats my ex too, they act like you owe them because theyre breathing, doesnt work that way with me.and all I got was a sample pen, glad i didnt need any of their products. ick.

I ordered a lot of pens 5 years ago. Most of the pens I ordered are still in the box and Ive been pulling them out for use as I need them. About a year ago I noticed the pens didnt write very well. Now, pulling the pens new out of the box, they dont write at all. Do pens go bad? These did. I have other pens from schools Ive gone to or whatever from 20 years ago and they still write.
