Ms. LaWanda is awesome! She realizes what is important to a child and thats what they get from her! She gives all of her attention and has lots of compassion for the kids. Im sitting here at work thinking about how thankful I am that they are able to handle our kid! He can be a handful sometimes, and they have been able to keep him calm and attentive during his time there in the mornings. He’s part time and goes to school in the afternoon. They have helped tremendously in transporting him to his school in the afternoon. He loves to ride the bus to school! When he first started he told Ms. LaWanda,,, “I want to ride the bus”… and she made sure that happened. Some days when he gets to daycare he might hear a baby crying and that makes him think he’s in a daycare for babies and that bothers him. He wants to be a big boy and be in school all day, but since he just turned 5 he can only go to school half days. But Ms. LaWanda knows exactly what to say and do to get his mind off the babies! I feel good dropping him off each morning, because I know they will take good care of him. I heard him talking to his sister a couple of days ago, he told her, “I love my daycare”… ♥ Many thanks to Ms. LaWanda and the staff at Rainbow Daycare for all of your help!

I do NOT recommend this daycare to anyone. I have 3 children ages 9, 4, and 1. This was my first time ever to send my children to a public daycare and I picked a horrible one to test the water on. The owner/director is very sweet but that is about as far as it goes. I chose this daycare because honestly it was the only one that I could afford and that would pick up at my sons school. But when I went to pick my son up early one day I was shocked to go to his room only for him not to be there and to be crying in another room. I then walked up to the room where he was at only to see the teacher throw him into the bed and yelling at him to be quite and to go to sleep...my one year old. Later on that day we went to pick our other child up and to speak to the owner again, while waiting we heard another teacher bellowing at all the children to SHUT UP. This was all of the children because at the end of the day they put them all into one room to watch tv, including the babies...I was disgusted and pulled both of my children out immediately. If you dont care how your children are treated and just need something cheap then they are a good fit...but like I said, you get what you pay for....

It all started last week. But first when I registered my daughter they gave me 1 price which was fine no problem. My daughter has been going there a little over a month. The director calls me to tell me they quoted me the wrong price the ask the I pay the difference. I told her no Im going to buy what was quoted to me on the first day and told her is it my phone your quoted the wrong price. Ive called you several times to make sure of the price and your worker told me that she (the director) isnt in and will call you when she gets back. Well its every bit of two weeks fine by Im just getting a call from you. She said well Im sorry that my workers didnt give you the right quote and no one told me. I said do you really think I actually would but you $115 for half weeks. She said well you going to have to talk to the person that is in charge. Before she could finish I said you are thedirector you are suppose to know all the prices and I dont want to talk to you anymore please give me the number to call him. She reluctant have it to me. But as soon as I find something else my daughter coming out of there....

My two year old son started here about a month ago and we have had nothing but the best experience so far! The entire staff is very friendly and helpful! As soon as we pull into the parking lot in the mornings, my son is clapping and excited to go play. They feed the children dinner around 5pm so they dont go home hungry and they always make sure my son has a new/dry diaper on before he leaves! Sending your child to a new daycare is always stressful, but from day one the entire staff made the stress and anxiety away by caring for my son so well!

Had the worse experience ever! They cut holes in my 3 month old babys bottle nipple, his teachers were NEVER in the classroom when I dropped him off in the mornings, AND they use to a wholesale can of formula in 3 days

I Have been having the hardest time getting a tax statement...Im getting so frustrated...Idk what to do now and the "new management" are absolutely no help.

The director is really nice and seems run things pretty smoothly, but sometimes it seems like there are more children per teacher than there should be.
