As previously noted by another reviewer, this location has been transitioning for some time, and there have been a number of staff changes. It is important to note that there are people who will quit their job without the courtesy of giving a two week notice. The Director and the Assistant Director have always informed me of these changes as soon as they are notified by the people who are leaving. They have either told me directly or sent a note home. Besides staff changes, all of the other adjustments have been normal things that happen during transitions like menu changes. Overall my experience has been that the staff are friendly and they genuinely care about the children they take care of. When my children are injured or have injured someone else, I am notified at pick up with the specifics or called immediately after the incident if it is serious. The teachers are all hands on and can tell me what kind of day my children have had (my children are in different rooms). I know that when my children are at this day care they are being taken care of, and I do not have to worry about anything. The peace of mind that the staff at this daycare give me is priceless.

I originally enrolled my son at this center when it was Childrens Lighthouse. I did not have any problems with the original company. However since its been purchased by Childcare Network the place has been disorganized. To be fair they are in the middle of a transition. However, they have been transitioning since Oct. 2016. My child was injured several times and I wasnt notified until I walked in to pick him up. In one case he had a bump and bruise on his head that I never received an adequate explanation for. In a second instance he fell cutting his chin and again I was not told until I picked him up. In both cases the injury occurred during the day well before I arrived to take him home. The center has removed the ability for parents to check on their children via an Internet portal but the cameras remain. The staff has been replaced several times. I believe I went through five teachers during the transition. I decided Id had enough when I realized I was no longer bothering to remember the teacher in my sons class. She was a temp who had been there off and on for two weeks. I hope they find their footing but we had to move on.

My 7 month old has been in the infant class for a couple months now and Ive not had a single issue. The staff have always been accommodating with my schedule and keep the place spotless. I knew my daughter would be cared for here the moment I went for a tour and saw how the room was maintained. Whenever Ive picked her up, or my husband and I visit her during the day, the room is surprisingly quiet and calm. My daughter has transitioned so well that she was ready to go to the teacher and play with her new friends after less than a week. Crying and whining babies is almost nonexistent as the children are usually being held, sleeping, in a rocker or some other cool infant bouncer. I am unable to speak to the older classrooms at this time or other Childcare Network locations, but in Hickory Creek we know our daughter is being cared for very well.

Leaving my baby is always a difficult task. However, I wouldnt trust any other center to watch my daughter! I have never had any problems and my daughter always receives the best care possible. We are always warmly greeted and my 7 month old perks up when she sees her lead teacher. I know that Mrs. Miriam gives my daughter the love and attention she deserves. I am so relieved to have such great caregivers for my daughter and would highly recommend Mrs. Miriam if you have an infant.

My little guy is a handful and they love him and help him be successful every day! Everyone knows who I am and who my child is, not just his own teacher. This is truly a family friendly place with a loving staff!
