My sole reason for placing my then infant son (now 3 yr old) at Childcare Network was because of Rodric. I knew after the interview my child was going to be in the best hands I could find. In the beginning, he assured me that I could call at any time to ease my worried mother mind, and he followed through with every call I made. When my child was not accustomed to eating solid foods, Rodric ensured the appropriate accommodations were met to gradually transferred to the facilitys provided meals. It has been proven that his keen observation insures the safety of all children who attend his school. He makes sure he knows every adult that is picking up and dropping off his students even down to what car they drive. This gives me a peace of mind knowing that not anyone can come through that door and putting our children in danger. Even though it is a business, it has never felt like one. As an educator, I wanted to make sure that my child was going to be exposed to a more school-like environment to ease the transition to a public school. Rodric more than accomplishes this. There are many times that my child has demonstrated not only academic development, but also good social manners (saying "bless you" when you sneeze, covering his mouth when he coughs, saying "please" and "thank you" appropriately, using a napkin correctly, cleaning up after a mess etc). I wish I could take credit, but this is all because he has employed a wonderful and supportive staff. It is also obviously apparent that Rodric cares about his students and is passionate about their academic and social development. He has on numerous occasions talked with my step-son and my son when they were upset. My 2 year old has built such a trust with Rodric that recently after a day when he was bit by another student, he came to the office and tried to communicate with Rodric about the injuries. This tells me that my son feels he can go to Rodric with any problem and that he can be trusted to help. Even though Rodric had a million things to do at end of the day, he still took the time to try to understand what my son was telling him. When discovering the bite marks, Rodric took immediate action, as he does with any of my concerns. Not only that, he took the time to check up on my sons injuries the next school day to make sure he was alright. This form of attentiveness and dedication to his students is astounding and should be highly recognized. I have boasted many times about Rodric and emphasized that he is the most professional individual I have worked with. My husband and I confirm on nearly a daily basis that Rodric is an amazing director and we made the right decision in putting our children in his care. Enrolling them into Childcare Network with Rodric and Rosemary as the directors was the best decision we have made for our sons. I believe that his hard work and dedication to his students goes beyond the call of a director and needs to be recognized in your corporation. I am extremely happy to have my daughter enrolled at Childcare Network. The rooms are always clean, organized, and well supervised by teachers who are excellent at what they do. My daughter, who used to be very shy and almost introverted, has just bloomed since shes been here. Shes making friends, both with the other students and with the teachers, and gladly participates in group play and activities. I believe this is in a large part due to the classroom environments maintained at the school. The children are always properly supervised, and their days are well-structured with both teacher-led activities and free play time where they can choose whichever activity they feel like doing around the room (i.e. painting, book center, dress up, sand play, etc.) I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this Childcare Network. The teachers are all extremely well trained and loving toward the children. Whenever my daughter is cranky in the morning and doesnt want to get dressed and out the door, all I have to do is drop her teachers name and she gets excited and starts rushing me to get ready. The director, Mr. Roderick, is simply amazing. There has never been a time when I have had a question or concern that he hasnt been immediately available and happy to talk. Even when its the end of the day and hes being pulled in a hundred different directions, any other person would be stressed and distracted, but Mr. Roderick will be cheerful and approachable and will make sure to say bye to my daughter and I as we leave. In short, Im very satisfied with my daughters and my experience with this Childcare Network. The facility, staff, and curriculum are beyond reproach. Its a wonderful feeling to be able to take her there in the morning and go about my day secure in the knowledge that she is happy, safe, and having a great day.

I had a really bad experience bringing my 2 year old here. The school year started out fine but within 2 months, the director had been fired and shortly after the teacher in my sons classroom had to take a leave of absence. This is when the problems began, my child was bit by another child and I was the one who discovered it. The teachers said they had no idea what happened or who did it. I was very upset and brought it to their attention as well as the director. After we had a lengthy conversation, I decided to give them one more chance. The very next day, my son came home with a severe diaper rash that including welts in his thighs! He had soiled his diaper and it had not been changed in a few hours, this was apparent by how dry the stool was and it longer had smell. I immediately pulled him from the daycare and fortunately was able to find a home daycare in the interim. I do not recommend this place, I really wanted to like it but my childs safety comes first

When I found out that I was going to be teaching in Irving....my husband and I began looking at every daycare in Irving. My husband is an officer so he had to make sure that is was a safe place and had all the precautions. Out of all 12 day cares we visited this is the only one where my son felt comfortable enough to detach from my leg. He made his self right at home and the staff treated him like one of their own children. Now the most important thing besides my child feeling comfortable is I was looking for a place that had a curriculum. Most day cares have one but ask them about it....what is it called, what kinds of things does it have you teach, etc? Me being a teacher I asked several questions and they were able to answer without hesitation, showed me the material, and said that I could come up anytime. Just so you know this is the only daycare that I found that is reasonably priced that teaches curriculum geared toward the school district!!!

When I found out I was going to have to enroll my then 2 year old in a daycare I was very nervous. I looked at just about EVERY daycare in Irving...I could not see myself leaving her at ANY of them! Then I was referred by a friend to Childcare Network. I went in unannounced and Rodric stopped everything he was doing to show me around. He introduced me to all of his teachers, showed me the room my daughter would be in, the bathroom (which was very important, seeing we were potty training), just gave me a full tour. He assured me that I could call as much as I needed to, to ease my mind (&& I did! He then would go back to her room and give me an update as to how she was or what she was doing, etc.) It was no time before she was completely comfortable and excited to go to school and play with her friends. I am so grateful we were able to find childcare network and Rodric!
