I moved to Austin in July, 2010 and began applying to DOZENS of various companies online & through monster/hotjobs/careerbuilder and every independent school district in the area. After no substantial luck I decided to start trying some employment agencies. I had been contacted by SEVERAL agencies regarding my resume prior to me contacting Express. The agencies that had contacted me initially were very vague on job descriptions, uninformative, and quite simply unhelpful (as they did not help find me any professional work). I am a graduate with quite a substantial resume, so lack of experience and skills was NOT the reason for unemployment. My boyfriend and I went to Express on a Thursday, they found him work immediately that Monday-a 90 day temp-to-hire position, and I began an interview process for a great opportunity that same week. Both of us are still employed by the companies they sent us to and are very greatful for their prompt & professional service! Definitely call Express if you are in need of a position and see what they have to offer you.

I received a call from a recruiter by the name of Misty, she had found my resume online and wanted to submit me for a position she had available. She scheduled me for an interview without giving me any information on the company or the position (other then the name and their URL). I was lucky enough to be offered the job; however neither the hiring manager nor Misty gave me any information about the position other then a title and an hourly rate. I declined the position due to the lack of professionalism on the part of the recruiter and the employer. Misty proceeded to call me continuously 3 or 4 times a day, sending me text messages and numerous emails in an attempt to have me sign hiring paperwork. I have no intention of working with Misty or Express again.

I moved to Austin on a Friday. I went to an interview with Mark from Express that same day. I started working the next Monday in a temporary job. (Not professional at all, Mark said that he had just that at the moment, and when he find something better he was going to call me). Then he found me another better job, with a better payment and environment. I like my new job!
