I have been doing business with Main Street Tire and Auto for over a year. The service is excellent, honest and the entire staff is very helpful and just downright nice. My wife and I had her SUV in for routine service and found out we had some major issues. They went over them with us and explained the costs and also the work that was probably down the road due to the mileage on our SUV which was over 130,000 at the time. They explained that they were happy to do the work which would be in excess of $4,000 but that maybe we should consider a new or newer vehicle due to the travel for work that my wife does weekly. My wife and I considered our options and ended up with a new vehicle which she is extremely happy with. We probably saved money on costly repairs plus we have peace of mind knowing that we are in a new vehicle that is safe and maintenance free. We continue to have routine maintenance done there and will continue to do so. We think they are awesome and encourage all our friends and neighbors to use them.

Owner had a polite front, but was rude and dismissive at the same time (might be a California thing). I felt like I wasnt being listened to, and that he just wanted to move me along (and he wasnt even busy), rather than talk the matter through until I was satisfied with his answers. When I tried to explain this to him, he immediatly shut me down, and said I was being sarcastic. He could take a lesson in public service from his competitor Cody Tripp. Cody is a gentleman, and he makes his customers feel like he cares about them.

Clean shop with excellent customer service and communication. Have to give them credit for putting up with some of the stress and strain that comes with state vehicle inspections. Especially since this isnt something that they are mandated to do! Witnessed people today cussing, throwing things, and just being down right impossible to please. Thank you Main Street for being an inspection station and not giving up on those of us who do appreciate all that comes with it.

After reading the other reviews, I can see that Sean has serious customer service problems. He was incredibly rude and dismissive. He did not listen to me at all, and continually interrupted me when I was trying to ask why they didnt do the work I asked them to do. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. I will never go back there again, for any reason, ever.

Great place: Courtesy, experience, concern for customers are the bywords of this automotive shop. Whenever I need an auto checkup, or have a problem of any sort with my car, I head straight to Main Street Automotive. I have been dealing with them for 3 years and have never been dissatisfied. This place is the best.

Stopped at Main St Tire & Auto on a recent trip out to Texas with a check engine light. Shawn and his staff were fantastic, the customer service was top notch and the prices were very reasonable. Would recommend this shop to any/all locals or vacationers!
