*Warning: We were served ROTTEN food!* From the time we walked in the door, I was skeptical. The associate at the door did not greet us, nor did he bother to inform us that we were to seat ourselves. It was rainy and cold outside, and even colder inside the restaurant. Our waitress seemed to be very new and extremely unfamiliar with everything. She didnt even know whether or not they offered a childrens menu without needing to consult another staff member (and they do NOT have a childs menu). The service was extremely slow, although the place was nearly empty. The burgers were less tasteful than a cheap fast-food burger... and overpriced. (Even the newbie waitress admitted the whole menu was high.) My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken, and when it was served, we were quite displeased by how small the portion of chicken was... and the meal, served with two sides, was right at $10. Further, once he ate about half of the chicken, he noticed it tasted bad. He started looking at it more closely and it smelled/appeared ROTTEN. The cup of chili he ordered as an appetizer (which came out with the meal), was the worst tasting recipe either of us have ever tasted. He is not one to send food back, however I would not let this pass! Once we were finally able to flag down the waitress again, I told her that the chili was not tasteful and would not be eaten, and that the chicken was rotten, and, of course, would not be eaten either. She sent a manager over who claimed she wanted to "make things right so we would come back," but the manager only took the chili off our check. She did nothing regarding the ROTTEN food they served. Needless to say, we will NOT be back! The ownership should take notice that some of their employees were more interested in hanging out at a bar table, just opposite the divider from us, the whole time we were having such an awful experience. In a restaurant that is failing this badly, SURELY there was SOMETHING more constructive the multiple free employees could be doing to make it a better dining experience for all of the customers. If youre looking for a nearby place to dine with a similar menu, definitely do not waste your time or money going here... go to Cheddars, just a few doors down. The food, service, variety, and atmosphere FAR SURPASS Big Shots!

Big Shots appears to have really improved over the past few months which Im wondering may be related to all the construction in HEB since a lot of establishments in that area are suffering. The bartender has always been friendly to me and makes sure Im taken care of, even when they get crowded. Weekends do get busy but thats expected when popular cover bands (Icognito, 360 South) are playing. For being a bar with a decent beer selection and even better selection of hard liquor, their food is actually quite good (what Id call above average than typical bar food).

My wife went in to see if they had our game on. We are from out of state. They didnt, but they had plenty of tables available and only one game going despitethe sign outside that says "every game every Sunday". Seems to me if you are dead on a Sunday while next door the buffalo wild wings is PACKED you would change at least one of your many televisions and fill one of those empty tables. Apparently not, as they told my wife no.

Slow service. Manager stayed with one couple while waitress did everything short handed. We could of walked out tab. KARAOKE music Way To Loud. . Could not carry a normal conversation without yelling at each other. Lighting at tables sucked. The guy watching the front door was worthless. He just played on his phone. Guys playing pool should of been carded looked very under age since I am a bartender I notice things like this.

Depends on what night you come. If Brena, kaylee, Whitney, Trina are working your great. Jason is on top of his game. But if Jamie and Arron are behind the bar together, you might as well serve yourself. They are so busy playing with one another that you can forget getting a drink. Management should never let them work together. Other than that. Food is great and the rest of the staff does a great job.

This place serves people WAY PAST POINT OF INTOXICATION! Then you ad playing poker to the mix and BAM BAR FIGHT! They dont call cops they just let him hide in their other bar next door after he assulted someone! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN! TOO SCARY! Im TABC certified that bar doesnt care enough about its patrons to make sure they arrive home safely and put everyone elses lives on the road in Serious Danger!

Its a great local bar...the food is really good. They usually have drink specials & the food is priced right. Sometimes there is a dj...if not it is jute box music only....bring quarters. They have several good pool tables, a few video games, trivia, poker & a very nice patio with a fireplace. Service can be slow....its a toss up. For sure it is worth checking out

Excellent for a dive. Bartenders are great. Ask for Peyton, she is the best. Draft beers are not that cold, but the service compensate. Food is average and the cleanliness is not a priority. If you are looking for a place to have a few drinks without breaking the bank and are in the Tarrant county area, this is a good place to hang out.

Went there for St. Pattys Day and brought my groupon with me. Waitress was really slow to take our orders and drinks. The appetizer plate came in late and cold. We asked to send it away, since it tasted terrible cold. Had to wait another 20 minutes for the waitress to bring the check back. Not coming back here again.

Tonight with star wars opening and in a Jawa costume i was greeted with a hostile door guy. Been here a few times with great bartenders. But i was warned if i put my hood on i would be thrown out, first and last warning. I just left with out causing trouble and i will not be back

Amazing food for a bar (5 star salads), great people, fun atmosphere, fun poker crowd, and hot bartenders. The bar is usually full but enough space at booths to sit and watch sports. Mega TVs, great drink specials, and plenty of parking. Skip Toadies. This is the place to be.

The room smelled a bit smoky but service was grand and the food was good. We tried fried avocado for the first time. The fajitas were good, but were served with no avocado at all.

Its a large place so you dont feel crowded even when it is busy. Good drinks, good food (greatest cheese sticks), nice staff, but dont come here if the smell of smoke bothers you.

food is okay the nacos were soggy not to mention they got my order wrong.. since it was delivered i couldnt get it fixed. didnt enjoy it like i thought i would.

trashy, terrible, dirty. having a bar like this in a callege town is acceptable, but not a place where you serve food. stayed for one beer and left. AVOID

Waited over 25 min and no even asked if I needed anything, waited 5 min at the bar and could not even get a drink .. customer service horrible....
