I am very disappointed in this El Pollo Loco. Being from California, I was initially very excited that an El Pollo Loco had opened nearby. The woman servicing us at the drive thru was very rude and we had a difficult time understanding her. Instead of making a fuss, we decided to order inside. The drive thru lady made it a point to shoot us a dirty look. We were informed that it would take an additional 10 mins to complete our order since they were out of thighs and legs and they were out of crunchy tacos. We modified our initial request, waited and received our order. When we got home, we noticed our order lacked the tortillas. I called the manager and requested the tortillas to be delivered since they advertise delivery. He said that they do not actually deliver and it would be through a 3rd party. Thus, my request was denied. Ive never left a horrible review, but this was extremely disappointing. I would be surprised if this establishment remained opened in a year with such horrible service.

Worst El Pillow Loco Ive ever been to. Ive gone here about 5 times because I really like the chain and its the only one in the area. But every time I go there, I order the same exact thing: Half chicken meal. Nothing complicated. 3 of the 5 times they told me they couldnt fill my order unless I wanted to wait 15 minutes. Other 2 times, cashier stopped me while she went and CHECKED to see if they could fill my order before taking my money. To be clear, I didnt show up at or even near closing time. This place does 1 thing... broiled chicken. I cant figure out why they dont keep enough on hand. The place was not busy either, so they didnt "just sell out". Its just VERY BAD MANAGEMENT. The place is right next to my gym, and I used to love to visit the chain when I lived in NV. But this one is so bad. Service is sometimes cappy too. Im very disappointed.

El Pollo Loco >>> Every fast food restaurant known to mankind in the galaxy If Han Solo could fly the Millennium Falcon to planet earth and grab a two piece meal with a thigh, leg and sides of rice and Charro beans you better believe he would. Hed probably leave a review just like this too. The food here though is literally so good youll want to get an order to go for later. I recommend getting the rice and pinto beans as sides for sure. The churros are also bomb if you want something sweet after your meal. The place was actually really really clean and the prices were great! This is definitely a great addition to the DFW! We need more! Put one in Grapevine please!!!!

Went for the first time. Was highly disappointed. My burrito, was just rice basically when I ordered a ranchero. The small pieces of chicken it did have, were pink and undercooked. I know this is a new location, and needs time to grow. Sadly, they need to work on their QA. I dont know how you can undercook something on a fire grill smh. What a waste of $7 smh. To just eat a little rice and some sauce smh... Dont recommend this location. Lines are also too long as well, near 5-9pm. Better delegation of large orders to pull out and park for their food to be brought out, would be better. While us small order folks, could get going.

Very disappointing customer service. They were out of red salsa in salsa bar and I asked for 4 salsa to go and they said they allow only 2 to take out even when I bought the family meal for 4. As per the manager it was store policy. Packaging was terriable all the beans were all over plastic bag when I got home. The lady at counter felt so bad she literally apologized to me. I called the corporate and asked them about salsa policy and they told me that was not the true policy of pollo Loco and they do not have 2 salsa per order policy. I will probably wont go back.

Real tasty food. We got the bowl combos..they offer 4 different $5 bowl combos..I got the Mexican Caesar..grilled chicken on top of Caesar salad which is on top of rice..I didnt expect the rice on bottom..really good! This combo does include small drinks which I think are a generous size for small..the combo also comes with your choice of corn or flour hot tortillas..good food, pleasant service. I also recommend the spicy avocado sauce from the salsa bar..its got flavor, but not killer hot.

Not a great example of El Pollo Loco. Two issues, when you greet the customer, why would you ask for an order if youre nowhere near the cash register and cant remember something as simple as a two-piece dinner with rice and beans? And, why do such simple things, really basic items on the menu take a 10-minute wait at noon? (Not crowded) And, while Im on a roll, why is one of the original basic menu items like flan considered seasonal, when it outsells other desserts 2 to 1?

Great food and quick, friendly service! We love El Pollo Loco and are so glad its now here in Texas! My husband loves the fire-grilled chicken with the rice and corn sides and I love the avocado bowl. Churros are a must-have for dessert. This restaurant meets all of our dining out criteria: the food is fresh and well prepared, the service is friendly and quick, everything is very clean and the prices are reasonable. Love it!

Very expensive The only fresh salsa is the tomato and the onion the others salsa are not fresh They advertise as a fresh alternative but the salsas are not made by scratch The chicken is too small The 2 pieces combo breast and wing is only one small breast and a little wing Only 2 tortillas and like 4oz of rice and beans Dont wast your money eating in a chain restaurants Eat local

I lived in Texas for 11 years and a lot of chicken places have opened up and closed since then but I do have to say this is the best chicken I have ever had!! Staff crew very friendly helpful"clean" is one of the main things, location is spotless makes you feel like coming back. Great lunch specials free family meals no more eating that on the healthy Fried Chicken love this place!!

If you are looking for a good tasting healthy alternative, this is the place!!! They serve some of the best chicken I have ever tasted and everything is very fresh. Very friendly and helpful staff will get you in and out in a hurry. I cant believe such good food from a fast food restaurant. I will visit at least once per week. Highly recommend it to everyone.

Very unprepared establishment.. I remember one time me and my wife went to the drive thru and they were out of pollllooooo for a good 20 min lol how is that even possible.. Hot sauce and other sauces is the only way i can eat my chicken, with that said they have been out of green sauce more than a few times which is a boner killer.... cmon el pollo loco

Unpredictable drive through service. Have given this place many tries- they have a terible time remembering & carrying out specific requests; their bowl portions vary widely. Management has a bad attitude, not the "hey, well fix it" one hopes for. Nothing like the California experience. Hoped theyd improve over time, not the case- yet.
