It is such a wonderful mechanic shop! My car had the engine light on and the day before a "STOP" came up while I was driving so I was really worried, after reading code at Autozone I suspected it was low on engine oil so I was desperately searching for a shop that would do oil change on a Sunday afternoon. I tried many nearby shops that open on Sunday, many fully booked, one had a ridiculous reason: not open to cars with >100k, one charge $40 even though I provide my own oil and filter, one changed their price the last minute when I went into their shop...all kinds of troubles. So I finally arrived at the Highlands Auto Center. John and Brandon are super nice!! They changed the oil, topped up the fluids and they diagnosed the problem (a broken valve gasket cover) without additional charge and they pumped air to the tires without me even asking. The shop is very friendly too, its like a little car museum with lots and lots of car models, my 2 year old son was so excited exploring the shop and there are toys for toddlers on the second floor too! I never expected my miserable day had such a happy turning point at this shop, and finally they only charged $15 for everything. I am running into tears.....they are just so nice!!

I would never bring my car here again. I took it in for a brake check and they wanted to replace virtually every part of my braking system. Pads, rotors, fluids, calipers; they said it all needed to be replaced for $900 plus tax. I took it to the Nissan dealership where they said I needed to change the pads and turn the rotors. Their total estimate was $600. I felt like Highlands was trying to take advantage of me. Sure the work and parts they suggested was probably going to cost the $900 but it simply was not necessary. If you want courtesy and convenience maybe youll accept a 30% premium. However, when a DEALER can do it cheaper, you have to wonder whats going on.

The best auto mechanics in the entire DALLAS area! They have the best worth of mouth propaganda, because they really care of you and dont just try to be fast with low quality. What they say they promise! The prices are more than fair and their service is just excellent! Wouldnt ever go somewhere else! These guys really take care of your problem=)

Ive used Highland Auto Center for years and trust them for quality and price. I work nearby so I can drop off vehicle and walk to work. Amazingly they stay open til 7pm and are open 7 days a week. Hussein is the heart and soul of the place and worked hard to earn and keep my loyalty.
