I know very little about how cars work and thought Id take a chance to see if I could learn by asking Steve at Pep Boys about oil changes. He was so patient and informative that my anxiety went away. I was so scared that he might feel agitated and tell me to wait in waiting area but he was nothing like that. Steve told me so much about what oil that goes in the car, how to change it if i ever wanted to change it, showed me what the oil filter looked like, and he showed me the difference in what the oil that they drained out my car versus what the clean oil looked like. He told me about air pressure in tires and showed me where it was displayed on stickers on my car in case I forgot what size tire my car has, which is often. He showed me where it was on sticker what the air pressure should be too. Steve taught me so much information I didnt feel so ignorant anymore. Keelen, who did the actual oil change, he was fantastic too. He made me feel welcome and he showed no signs of being irritated by my presence. I definitely feel comfortable enough with them to trust Pep Boys to do even major work on my car. Thank you Steve and Keelen for really making me feel welcome to learn about oil changes, tire pressure, window tint, etc. I will always remember you, especially if I win the lottery.

I wouldve given it one star but they have cool/good merch at a good price. Anywho, why have the app? Why make an appointment, when youre still going to have to wait an hour and a half for an oil change(previous visit). Some pretty cool finds enabled me to just let it go. This morning (9am)I book an appointment via pepboys app. They have my contact info, vehicle information, service requested, and I arrive a few minutes early(9:55), check in(where I confirm my name AND VEHICLE), go back to my vehicle to place insurance card on dash, before going inside excited to see their retail merchandise. Thirty minutes later I get a phone call from the clerk of why my vehicle cannot be serviced. I dont understand why I couldnt have been notified of this the moment I booked the service appt, or at least when I checked in. I hate wasting my time. I hate writing this review, but hopefully itll help someone save some time and energy.

I went in for tire rotation and balancing which were free under a warranty I purchased with new tires. While I was there I decided against my better judgement to go ahead and get an oil change. I was quoted a decent enough price and told there was an online coupon I could use for additional $20 dollars off. Ok, sounds good enough. Not!! Once it was time for me to check out the tech said the price was now about $50 more than what was originally quoted and no need for the online coupon as he had already applied the discount. Really?... He stated my car needed additional supplies as to why the price went up. Never once did he get my approval or even inform me of the extra services or cost. I did notice that the place was trying to improve their quality of service but please not at the customers expense.

Will NEVER bring my vehicle to this location or to another Pep Boys again. Brought my car in on Thursday at 1pm. Told them it needed a belt replaced. There was not 1 car being serviced in the bays. There was 1 other car in the parking lot. There were two employees sitting on stools in the bays waiting for work. Didnt hear from them all night. Called at 8am Friday (today) and spoke with David the Service Manager. Said he would look into it. The person that wrote the ticket comes in at 9. Called at 3:30pm today as we have not heard from them. Was told it was up on the rack but they would call us at the end of the day to authorize the work. 2 days in the shop to replace a belt and NOTHING has been done yet. We will see how this ends.

First time I took my car to this shop for an alignment, I scheduled an appointment. It took over 6hrs to complete the job. Second and last time will be today because I went back there for check up, dropped it off at 11am. Came back 4:30pm, I was told my car will be next. Almost 2hrs later, still waiting. I left without getting my car looked at not to even talk about fixed. Terrible customer service all the way!!!

Went for an oil change. It took them an hour, but there was an issue with a part. They replaced the part after I told them my last oil change was with them and then when it was finished they didnt charge me anything for the oil change. Really appreciate customer service like that, its hard to find even if they were the ones who messed something up. I will definitely go back, theyve been nice every time.

Spoke with an associate over the phone to make an appointment. He scheduled my time and assured service for a simple oil change. Rushed straight from work. Got told it would be an hour and a half and they may not even get to my vehicle today. Now its late in the day (6pm) so Ill be lucky to find another place. I needed this service done today. The excuses were just that: total bullsh*t excuses.

I have two older cars and this location has been great! I recommend! I normally like to support smaller businesses, but the last mechanic had installed the wrong sensor (costing unnecessary time and money) and another wanted to replace the A/C system for $700+ because they couldnt find the leak. I like the option to buy tires and a rental car service located in the store!

Never Ever get service done here... I went there had a bunch of stuff done, I got new tires, alignment, tuneup, and a few other tests done didnt almost $800 come to find out they left some lugnuts loose on my back tires a serious damage could have happened I could have wrecked and thus was said by another mechanic who tightened was was loose.... I do not recommend pep boys

Terrible service. Battery says 36 month free replacement. That is a LIE!!! They are prorated so be prepared to PAY EXTRA for your FREE replacement. Make sure to look at the purchase date on the screen. They will tell you it is out of warranty when it is not. If there was a no star button that is what they deserve. All lies from this place.

Late tow, several days in the shop, Over priced and inexperienced . I started having the same problems after letting Pep Boys fix my car so I had another mechanic look at the car and they told me the problem wasnt fixed properly. 500.00 out of pocket to a bunch of crooks !

The service was superb. The service rep, Jahaziel Ortiz provided me with outstanding customer service. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He turned a stressful day into one that ended well. This store has improved 100 per cent.
