Hiring Kimberly from Hitched Events was hands down the best decision of our entire wedding (next to saying yes when my husband proposed :)). We hired her after we had already selected our venue, church, and photographer, so we opted for a partial planning package that Kimberly custom made to our needs. We were VERY budget-conscious, but upon meeting Kimberly and feeling totally at ease, we knew we just had to use her. She was worth every penny!! My husband lived in Houston while we planned our wedding in Dallas, so my mom did most of the planning with me. Kimberly was patient with us for every crazy meeting and question we had (or at least pretended to be--haha!). Even when I called her stressed out about something, she would always calm me down and help me develop a plan. She was my life saver!! She always gave her honest opinion, which is what my mom and I needed. Her time line for the day-- a personalized copy for vendors, girls and guys-- was INCREDIBLE! Everyone knew what they were supposed to do and when to the minute. The day of the wedding, I was completely stress-free. All of my friends commented on how calm I was-- it was literally because I knew that Kimberly, Emily and Chelsea had it all taken care of. I was able to enjoy the entire day and soak it all in. Kimberly picked up lunch for the bridesmaids so that my mom didnt have to leave. Her team coordinated the buses for the wedding party and guests and made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. Plus, the emergency kit they brought was a life saver! We did pictures in the grass and my dress had 3 moderate sized mud spots on the train. Without batting an eye, Kimberly sat and started cleaning it until it was all out! At the reception, she single-handedly bustled my dress for me before we were introduced. My husband and I never had to ask for a drink, we ate a full meal, and danced the night away! There were countless other things she did throughout the night to help everything go seamlessly. Our wedding night was seriously the best night of my life and everything Ive ever imagined thanks to Kimberlys expert advice, guidance, and professionalism. You HAVE to use Hitched Events-- you will not be disappointed I promise you!

After I got engaged, my first instinct was ‘I can do this on my own”. Boy was I WRONG! My dream wedding would not have been possible without Hitched Events by my side. Kimberly is so personable, professional and easy to work with. She gave our wedding to one of her top planners, Chelsea Wilderotter. I cannot say enough about how AWESOME Chelsea is. Planning weddings and events is a god given talent for Chelsea. She really went above and beyond any of our expectations and made my vision become a reality. Multiple phone calls, at home meetings with linen samples, vendor meetings, reviewing proposals, putting together and keeping up with the budget; you name it, she was on it! When I got flustered in situations, she handled them like a true professional; a trait not many people have. When it came down to our wedding day, everything was perfectly planned and we had Chelsea, Stephanie and Maria at our wedding ensuring our vision went off without a hitch. But, not everything goes perfect, right? We ended up having bad sideways rain that drenched our tent and guests. Our “plan” went out the window and our sit-down dinner turned into, eat where you can inside the house and let’s get the party started. Chelsea and her team AMAZED me on how they handled the situation. Tables were moved inside, everyone still received their meals (even located our vegetarians), wine was offered to guests waiting, and they offered exceptional service to our other vendors who have “never been in this situation before”. Chelsea knew I wanted to still eat at the head table after the rain died down, so she tricked my husband and I with a handful of guests to go outside and eat. A true magical moment that I always envisioned still happened. Our new kind of perfect wedding! Even with all the chaos, Chelsea and Hitched Events managed to keep us on schedule throughout the evening. I cannot thank them enough and now consider Chelsea one of my dearest friends! If you’re looking for a planner that listens, gets it right and goes above expectations do NOT let Hitched Events slip you by. It’ll be one of the best decisions you’ll make, so you can ENJOY your day knowing everything this handled!

My daughter’s wedding was absolutely stunning and exceeded every expectation we had (and those expectations were HIGH) thanks to Kimberly Rhodes’ expert help and guidance. When my daughter became engaged, we started the wedding planning process by interviewing planners in our area. Living in Dallas, there was no shortage of renowned and highly qualified planners to choose from, and thus the first challenge was to identify who would best fit both our personalities and needs. We became aware of Hitched Events and its owner, Kimberly Rhodes, thanks to a wedding venue vendor who was impressed by Kimberly’s work. Kimberly’s warmth and professionalism were evident from our very first meeting with her; throughout the 12+ months of planning, she was our advocate, consultant, advisor, and friend. My daughter was the type of bride that had a very clear vision of the feel, style, and look she wanted for her wedding. Kimberly connected us with vendors she knew could bring that vision to reality (with our budget in mind) and, oh my goodness, the result was nothing less than spectacular! Since my daughter was so specific in what she wanted, my biggest fear was that the final result would not meet her expectations. I had nothing to worry about; everything turned out even better than we had hoped for. Choosing Kimberly was instrumental in allowing us to have an incredibly relaxed wedding day; we could focus on enjoying the day knowing she was making sure everything was taking place as it should. We chose to do the full planning package with Hitched Events. Kimberly was not the least expensive of the wedding planners we interviewed, nor was she the most expensive. However, I can unequivocally say that she was worth every penny, and if we had to do it all over again, we would hire her in a heartbeat! You cannot go wrong with Kimberly in your corner; she gives her brides 110% and goes above and beyond to make the wedding planning process as seamless as possible.

Shelby and Kimberly were FANTASTIC! They completely took the reigns for our wedding coordination the month of the wedding and things could not have gone smoother. I felt so comfortable and confident during every meeting that every part of the process was taken care of. They asked all the right questions (including tons I would never have thought about), and helped guide me based on my preferences and style. They have amazing contacts and were happy to help make any recommendations for vendors around town. As with every wedding, there were some sensitive family issues at play and they handled everything with grace and made sure everyone was comfortable. They took the time to learn about family dynamics, learn names of the wedding party, and most importantly, understand the preferences of my husband and me to ensure everything was executed how we expected. When we had a few last minute RSVPs days before the wedding and needed to order more chairs for the reception, our chair vendor was completely out and couldnt help us. Shelby called around to several vendors to find the same matching chairs, and personally went to pick them up to save me an additional delivery charge. She returned them the day after the wedding for me as well, no questions asked. Chairs seems like a silly thing to be worried about, but any added stress the week of the wedding was completely lifted. We HIGHLY recommend Hitched Events for wedding planning. They are lovely to work with and very affordable!
