This was my third visit to Northside Barber Shop. I usually have no problems. My first 2 times I got a flat top from Joe and this really nice blonde lady who was in the first chair. I came in today around 1:30 for a shave and a flat top and was looked like I was crazy. This is the first time I would have gotten a shave in a Barber Shop. I was told by the lady in the last chair closest to the back wall, "we cant do shaves on the weekend, where too busy, you should know better." I am DEFINATELY going back to Northside, maybe I will try again for a shave someday. I got my excellent flat top this time from Tommy. GREAT flat tops and GREAT Barbers. Its just like Deja Vu," 100s of beautiful girls and 3 ugly ones." You just gotta watch out for the ugly ones.

Ive been going to Northside for 4 years now and am very happy with the excellent service and friendly atmosphere. My job requires extensive travel so, at times, must have my hair cut when out of town. Upon my return, I get to Northside as quickly as possible to clean-up the out-of-town haircuts. Northside recently came under new management and hired a couple of new barbers with a number of years experience. Couple that with the significantly improved decor and why would you go anywhere else? If you desire a quality traditional haircut, Northside is the place. If you desire an assembly line cut from someone different every time, try one of the franchise shops.

Great place. The first time I went I really liked my cut. The second time I went they remembered me and what length I liked and how to style it. I was impressed. I have been back a few more times now and will continue to go here. I also like how you get a hand shake when you come in and leave and an honest thank you. Everyone is very friendly and nice to talk to. If you get Denny and want to talk sports be prepared to get schooled on anything sports. Great value too.

I love this place. Its fun to talk with Denny about football (or any other sport). Seems to get everyone involved into the conversation. Very friendly. I like grabbing a coke while I wait. They even clean my face up for me so my lines are straight. I moved here in April 2011 and I was lucky enough to try this place first.

I have been going to this shop for over 8 years.The owner has always given me the best service,not only is she a great barber but a true friend.If this happen under her watch she would recut or give the money back.So dont hide behind the keyboard just stop by and visit with her. This barbershop seems to be throwback to the old days of the downtown barbershop. Deb and Denny do awesome jobs at cutting hair. They are great with kids and love their regulars. Go once and get a great haircut. Go again and be amazed that they remember you.

Great barber shop! Im not a local but the staff is very friendly and made me feel welcome. Shop was bright and clean. The staff obviously cares about their customers. Cost for a regular haircut was $14.00.
