Primrose School of Firewheel has been the biggest blessing for our children! We were initially drawn in by the outward appearance, including cleanliness, décor, and professionalism of the staff, and have stayed loyal because this outstanding school has exceeded our greatest expectations. We enrolled our son at Primrose shortly after learning that he had a fairly significant speech and language impairment. Any parent experiences anxiety in trying to select the right school for their child, but this fear is compounded when your child has special needs. The staff at Primrose has been amazing in their kindness and support for our son. When he struggled to meet developmental milestones, the teachers displayed no shortage of strategies and patience in helping him achieve at his own pace. As he moved up from class to class, the teachers collaborated with each other and communicated with my husband and I to ensure the easiest transition possible. We have seen our son grow leaps and bounds over the past two years at Primrose. Each and every day we are astonished by the work he brings home school. The curriculum is both challenging and stimulating. We are thrilled to send our son to kindergarten next year equipped with phonemic awareness, hundreds of sight words under his belt, writing skills, and beginning math skills. When we found out we were pregnant with our second child, I was relieved to know that we had already found the perfect school. Our daughter joined the Primrose family at just seven weeks and it has truly become her second home. She enters the doors each morning with a smile on her face and happily runs into her teacher’s arms. Each day, our daughter enjoys a variety of nutritious foods (something that sold my husband on Primrose) and displays excellent table manners. Even for the littlest ones, the curriculum is outstanding. At just 15 months, our daughter is a prolific signer and books are her favorite “toy”. Our children have thrived in the rich and nurturing environment provided by Primrose School of Firewheel and it has been worth every penny!

5 Stars out of 5! (3/6/11 Jenny Morrow) Primrose school of Firewheel has a wonderful staff. They are friendly and respond quickly to any concerns via calls or emails. The owner and director are very hands-on, dedicated and get involved in all aspects of running Primrose. Im always greeted warmly and most staff know me (and especially my sweet son). The school is very clean and well-maintained, with a cheery environment covered in precious childrens artwork. The playground outside is nice, well-maintained, safe and age-appropriate. The children play twice a day, which is good to help burn energy. The menu seems nutritious and delicious and my son likes it (even though he is a picky eater). I understand the ingredients are sensitive to children with food allergies. I feel safe leaving my son at Primrose. They have added cameras to the entrance of the school. There is one code to enter to get into the front door. Another parent-chosen code is entered at the front desk. I never worry for a minute about my sons safety while at Primrose. My son has been attending Primrose since Preschool. My favorite teacher of his is Ms. Luna, his current Pre-K teacher. She is parent-friendly and communicative. She is patient and well-suited for working with 4 and 5 year olds. If I make a note in my sons folder (with questions or comments) she always responds that day. She makes time to talk to me about any questions or concerns I might have. My sons teacher recently told me he is beginning to come out of his shell, get involved more and play with more kids. He is kind of a loner and I believe his teacher has worked really hard at encouraging him to participate in the group. Jenny Morrow

All three of my children have been enrolled in Primrose School of Firewheel for over a year and a half, and I have experience from the young infant room all the way through the kindergarten program. This facility is top notch. The owner is often on-site and is very personally involved. The adminstration staff is knowledgable, well-organized friendly and accessible. And, most importantly, the teachers are loving, trustworthy and well trained. I have always felt that my children were in nurturing hands and have never had to give a second thought to their safety. Primrose promises a learning program, and lives up to that promise, offering a terrific early education in reading, math, art, music, as well as social values. Primrose of Firewheel also helps the kids learn to make healthy choices - including nutritious "home-cooked" meals prepared on-site by the schools cook, education as to the health benefits of fruits and vegetables, and daily physical activity. The owner and staff are communicative and accessible and really get to know the kids and parents - greeting us all by name as we arrive. If you are waivering between this Primrose school and another in the area - we previously had our kids at another Primrose school - not all Primroses are alike. Primrose School of Firewheel is heads above the other - due in great part to the quality and personalities of the owner, staff and teachers. You may pay a little more at Primrose, but you definitely get your moneys worth in terms of peace of mind, quality of care, early education, and very happy kids. I wholeheartedly recommend Primrose School of Firewheel without any reservation.

My son started Primrose Firewheel in the young infants classroom one month ago. The change weve seen in him in just these few weeks has been amazing. He is a more social baby and able to be around larger groups without fussing and has even started crawling! The developmental programs that Primrose offers, even for infants, is amazing. This is not a day care, but its truly a classroom that focuses on the needs of each baby. The teachers are loving and caring, and the management at Primrose is extremely responsive and never makes you feel like youre a burden ... even for us first time moms living our son for the first time! Update: Overall this school is fantastic. My son has been going there for 8 months, and he loves it. The staff is warm, caring and attentive, and the teachers love the kids wholeheartedly. My only complaint is the pricing and fee structure. You are going to pay more in weekly tuition, which was ok with considering the exceptional quality of the school and its programs. But they are going to get you with the extras. There are semi-annual supply fees. We have to pay a $100 fall registration fee even though were already registered? Once your kiddo gets older, they will tack on more for music and "stretch and grow time", and none of this includes the regular parties and items they want you to contribute to , i.e. Valentines, silent auctions, etc. I just wish they would be upfront about all the charges, maybe even include them in the tuition instead so many extras out of pocket that seem "hidden".

It has been almost a year that my 4 year old daughter has been enrolled in Primrose @ Firewheel. Moving to Texas from Virginia and not knowing the area I asked any and everyone for a school to take my daughter to. 9 of 10 said Primrose and to my dismay there was not a school in the North East Dallas area. Reluctantly I enrolled my child in a nearby school that I was not fond of at all. It wasn’t until I got a job in Garland that I found Primrose @ Firewheel and called immediately. Upon entering the school I was wowed, the school was spotless and smelled like freshly baked cookies, organized and the staff had students from babies to kindergarteners engaged in activities that looked like sooooo much fun that I wanted to join. The icing on the cake was my interview with the Owner Mrs. Rigley. She spoke of the students with such passion and her personality was so nurturing that I did not hesitate enrolling my daughter. I no longer work in Garland, I work from home and make a 45 min drive to bring my child to school every morning. Knowing my child is in a family oriented environment that is secured and my child is actually learning something at school instead of playing all day puts my mind at ease. I love this school and recommended it whole-heartedly.
