This facility was previously Riverstone School and was sold to Childcare Network a couple of weeks ago. Since the parents were not given ample notice of the transfer that was about to take place, many of us were unprepared to find alternative childcare so quickly. (Which Im quite sure all parties involved knew would be the case). After hearing about all of the changes that would take place, talking to several of the other parents, and my own gut instinct telling me that this was not going to be good, I was very skeptical to leave my children the day after Childcare Network took ownership. However, just to be sure that I wasnt jumping the gun based on preconceived notions due to how the transfer of the facility was handled, I decided to leave my children there for a week or so to see how things went. The end result is me placing my children elsewhere and writing this review, so it obviously didnt go well. My child had been at Riverstone for over a year and had never once came home with mark on him or talking inappropriately. The first day after CN took ownership he was sent home with an accident report. The last day he went to school I picked him up to find scratches on his face. Hes been calling people "stupid" and saying things like "thats stupid", which he never did prior to the past two weeks. Im not the type of parent to put my child on a pedestal and blame everyone else for his actions, but I am the type of parent who knows my child and his demeanor and I know that he wasnt saying unkind things, coming home with scratches, or having any atypical behaviors prior to the transfer of ownership. While I seem to be the only parent thus far to write a review for this place, I personally know many other parents who pulled their children out of this school for similar reasons. Several staff members decided to quit after the transfer as well. Riverstone was a great school with a great staff and caring management. We really enjoyed our time there and I always felt that my children were safe and well cared for and the staff were always very helpful and kind. I cant say the same for Childcare Network. The new Director is very rude and not helpful at all. Maybe shes just that way to the veterans of Riverstone, I dont know. Im sure that she didnt like all of our questions and the fact that many of us seemed to be well aware that our children were receiving a lower quality of care than what we were previously getting. Feel free to make your own judgment regarding this place, but when great staff starts leaving the facility and concerned parents pull their children (with very little time to find alternative childcare), then that says a lot. While I considered Riverstone to be THE BEST childcare facility around, there are others nearby that are fairly good too, or they at least beat Childcare Network.

Good evening I Breanna Turner would like to address the situation that happened Friday April 22nd. I feel like Mindy wanted to let me go way before this situation occurred. Mindy then went to laugh about the situation saying oh I need 2 new teachers. For her to say that out in the open for people to hear her that is very unprofessional. Whoever is in charge really needs to go look far into school 244. Because Mindy talks to the staff like were absolute crazy. Before corporate comes out Mindy tries to put on a huge front like everything is okay but in reality its not. Shes unfair you can tell she has her favorites. You can even look at the turn around. Shes always losing employees its hard for her to find new ones. Every time something happens I make sure to document it. For example on April 19th Mindy told a worker she was a burden because her school schedule had changed. April 12th I had pink eye my eye was swollen instead of Mindy being concerned she asked who punched you in the eye. Instead of being concerned about the kids getting it she told me to just make sure I wash my hands. Another worker had pneumonia she told her okay you can go back to class its documented. As a worker I never felt like I could go to her because she always seemed to be in a bad mood I felt like we were in prison we always had to watch our back because you never knew how she was going to come in that day. Monday March 14th 4:49 a.m. I called Mindy 3 times to let her know I was sick so I wouldnt be in. First time 4:49 no answer I even left a voicemail, still no answer I even left a voicemail , still no reply called right back at 4:55 no answer. So I waited I called for a third time which was at 5:17 still no answer I even texted her at 5:20 letting her know. An I made sure to screenshot every single time. Tuesday March 22nd really everyday I came in at 7:00 never have I been late but she always made me stay. She would let the other teacher who came in at 7:30 leave before me. Every single day it seem like there was a problem about something. I literally went home every day crying to my mom about how I didnt want to go back. But I had to think about me being in school and 2 its only me and my mom so me working was a way for me to help her. But in all my time have I ever came across someone so unprofessional. If corporate was to come out to speak to each employee individually you would understand its Mindy not the employees. I feel like I was being bullied by Mindy! Something needs to be done about her.

I highly recommend Childcare Network in Sunnyvale. My son currently attends and I feel very comfortable dropping him off every morning. This center is safe and clean. Mindy the Director has always been very professional and friendly with me as has Lavonda at the front desk. Lavonda has the most joyous spirit about her; I have never seen her without a smile and its refreshing to come and go through the center with her there. You will NEVER find a place that is truly perfect but what is most important is the cleanliness and safety of our kid(s) and that when an issue or concern is ever brought up, that it be dealt with by management appropriately. I have not had any serious concerns and the few times I have wanted to bring something to Mindys attention, she has always been very receptive. I trust that shes a "Boss" and handles things as she should. They feel like family and that is important when my son now spends more time with them during the week than his working mama.

Childcare Network is a great school! The director Mindy Enriquez provided me with a tour and was very sweet and helpful. My kids attended several schools and even after six months my kids were still crying and did not want to stay. After enrolling my kids at Childcare Network they are finally happy and I have peace of mind now that my kids are safe and happy at their new school. The teachers and even parents are friendly. My two year old is now counting and singing her ABCs and my son is now excited to go to school. He always has something exciting to share with me on what he did that day and he loves his teacher. This school is clean and well organized. All the kids seem happy and just seem to enjoy their time there. It is extremely important to me that my children attend a school where the teachers actually teach, love being their and they show it and love their students.I can see it at this school. Thank you teachers and to Mindy for making this a great school.
