This place was the worst!!! I went in for a working interview and it was the most disgusting, terrifying experience I have ever had with children in my life. After they sang with the toddlers (the room I was in) one teacher took one child to finger paint, the other teacher took another child to change her diaper, and they left me with 14 children!!!!!! 14!!!!!!! TODDLERS!!!!!!!! About 8 of the children had running noses, playing with the toys, putting them in their mouths and then passing them to the next child. They didnt even disinfect them when they were done. They just had me pack them up at the end of playtime and put them back in the shelf. When I came in, their noses were running and the teachers didnt even care. I was running around, wiping their noses, and then a child bit another child so hard skin broke! The teachers had nerve to CONTEMPLATE whether or not to tell the childs father whose cheek was scarred. Another child was running extremely fast, tripped, fell into the wooden shelf and didnt get up. I was so scared, and I asked the teacher if we call the girls parents because she couldve gotten a concussion. She looked at the girl and said, "shes fine, not even a scratch." Whats worse is that now, I have a viral infection. ME! If you value the life of your child, please...thats all I can say.

My daughter has attended Pecan Ranch for over 3 years and I will say it is a great school, however, in the past two years it seems like they have had a lice issue. My daughter is an only child and is never around any other children. I have checked with the nurse multiple times at her elementary school and the kids are clean. Pecan has had a outbreak with the schoolers before and handled the issue. I feel like management really needs to stress to all parents to not bring your child to the daycare if they have lice. Maybe even conduct weekly lice searches until the issue is resolved. Also, it would be nice to see Lisa Rozell the owner a little more. I know she has others to run it but having a presence at your daycare other than from 10-2pm is not very good. In the beginning she was there quite a bit and I loved that she was more involved. I pick my daughter up at 6pm and would like to see her once in awhile. Lastly, the teacher turn around is not very good, especially, in the school aged room. They have hired teachers with no experience. Ive walked in on teachers screaming at the children. The issue was resolved but screening of applicants should be taken a little more serious.

We are very sorry to learn that one of our families had a bad experience while attending PRLC. It is our mission to create a homelike environment where families feel comfortable and their children our given the opportunity to flourish. Here at PRLC we have an open door policy; this policy is in place so families can comfortably sit down with a member of our management team or the owners to discuss special needs or concerns relating to their childs care. PRLC is a family owned and operated learning center. The PRLC ownership has over 50 years of experience in business and early childhood education. At PRLC we take great pride in our employees and their well-being. We offer our employees competitive salaries, bonuses, award an Employee of the Month and offer an Insurance Plan. The employees receive continuing education hours through annual training seminars where they are exposed to the most current care and teaching techniques. We encourage staff members that aspire to enroll into a local college where they can obtain their CDA or Associates Degree. At PRLC childcare is our passion and we look forward to the opportunity to serve the families within our local communities.

I have to say, I searched for a while for a daycare for my 2 younger children, and when I walked into Pecan Ranch I knew that was where they had to be. They kids had a rough start becuase they had been at home with Grandma, my youngest son had one of the most caring teachers ever(Ms. Bailey) and now he is with Ms Cynthia and he absolutely loves her. The staff is great and I feel good know that they really care about my children. PRLC is not just a daycare but a learning center and I have seen tremendous growth with my son since he have been there. The before and afterschool program is great, we have so many crafts I am not sure where I will be able to put all of them. If you are looking for a safe place for your children PRLC is your place.

Our daughter has attended Pecan Ranch for a year now and we have decided it is time to pull her out. In the past year, our 2 year old daughter has been in 12 different teachers hands. The staff in the toddler room left what seemed within 1-2 weeks of starting there. Other staff would gossip and complain about the other owner. I am not convinced the owner knows how to manage a business or just doesnt treat her employees right. Either way, what is most important to me is that my daughter is happy and has stability/security while in school all day and she doesnt. She is not happy and stressed out and no child should have to be that way. The school has potential but not until the staff is happy and managed better.

I have 4 kids at PRLC and it was the best decision that we made for our kids. It such a good feeling to walk in to the clean daycare and be welcomed by the friendly office staff at PRLC. I have 4 kids there with different personalities and needs and all of their teachers do an outstanding job meeting their needs. All of the teachers genuinely care about the kids and they love their jobs. I have one child that gets picked up by PRLC after school day care bus and he absolutely loves riding the bus and doing the fun activities that they have planned in the evening. PRLC is the best daycare and I would recommend it to anyone!!!

Our daughter Samantha is very happy at Pecan Ranch School. She is currently in the Pre-Pre-K class at 3 years & 9 months. She has been with Lisa Rozell, the owner and Director, for over 3 years and she made the transition to the daycare easily. Lisa and Daniel Rozell truly care about every child and ever family that comes through the doors of Pecan Ranch. The teachers encourage independence and self discovery, and they also like to have fun! I would recommend this daycare to anyone that is looking for a "home away from home" for their little one(s).

PRLC hiring procedures is to put the potential employee in a classroom environment approximately for 30 minutes to an hour. This serves several purposes, the most important is the working interview capable of caring for a group of children with PRLC standards. A standard classroom is staffed with two teachers at all times. This particular class is staffed above state standards with three teachers due to the age and the quality care we want to provide. The below applicant was not asked back for a second interview.
