Just went last night with the boy friend. I must say I was super surprised! I havent had good Thai food since Ive been in Houston (almost a year now). I had the pineapple curry and it was amazing! My boyfriend was actually complaining that I always manage to pick the best plates off the menus even though his Pad Kee Mow was The Stuff! I definitely plan on coming back to this place soon. I love Pad Thai so I might get that next time.... wow Im getting hungry now! I would definitely recommed this place to anyone wanting authentic and tasty Thai food. It was great! I really cant say enough about them. The price was really good too! You must try the Lucky Buddha Beer. Its pretty good actually and the bottle it super cute in the shape of a buddha. The one thing I will say that wasnt the best, but wasnt horrible either, was our waitress. Although she was super nice and was attentive and prompt to refill our glasses, she seemed a bit overwhelmed and there were a few times that we were left waiting for her to either order desert or take our bill so we could leave. Mind you they had just opened for dinner and there were maybe 5 parties if that, 3 of which belonged to another waitress. Over all, the experience was great, the ambiance was very intimate which is a huge plus when your with your honey. I really have no complaints and I cant wait to try the Pad Thai. Keep up the great work guys!

Great variety for a quick lunch stop. Be careful on the spice, though. I can generally handle spice very well and usually order mine at a 2 or 3. The red curry chicken is delicious and you can get brown rice for $1 extra. The Pad Thai isnt bad but you can find better very easily. (Banana Leaf in Sharpstown has the best.) The cashew beef is delicious and the yellow curry is not my style but very popular amongst my coworkers. -- The Galleria location is great too!

I think some of these reviews are unfair. I had a lovely meal here. Bear in mind that you are being served by real thai people who are not talking in their own language so misunderstandings are possible. To me that adds to the experience. Nothing annoys me more than when I go to a thai restaurant and there isnt any thai staff. In my opinion these guys are attentive and trying their best and the meal was very good.

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat! We used to frequent the clear lake location, but have thoroughly enjoyed this location since moving to the city. We often get our order to go, but the food is truly amazing! You can customize your spicy level on almost all the dishes, and the soups are to die for. If youre looking for something comforting and satisfying try out the Tom Kha or Tom Yum! Yum Yum!

Great Thai food restaurant right by my work! Its a hit or a miss with the lunch crowd. Sometimes theres no wait, sometimes theres more than a 15 minute wait. Other than that, they have great lunch specials! Their Pad-see-ew was not on special, so I had their Pad Thai and it was great! The servers were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

This is a kind of restaurant were I can go everyday and never get bored.I tried all currys and different dishes (Chilli Paste , Chilli basil , Garlic and Pepper Lover etc.). All of them were fantastic, Sometimes It gets little crowded during lunch hours. The level of spice is little high. If you are not regular spice lover ask for mild. The good thing is it is under budget.

Worst service ever! staff has no manners at all. they have no clue about customer service. i have been a regular customer since they opened up. we order out or eat there at least once a week. there is a management guy named POP, he is the worst of them all. i would not go back there ever again. it a shame they lost one of their loyal customer.

Watch out for this place. I ordered two items and they attempted to overcharge me for both. Plus, I declined the rice that comes with the meal and was offered veggies instead wen I got the bill they tried to charge me for the veggies, too. And they were cold, BTW. also, I asked for the hottest possible but I could not taste any eat.

Horrible hours of service, my first time in Houston and wanted Thai really really bad. My sister and I arrived around 3:05pm and we were told "We are closed from 3pm-5pm" What type of service is that? Bad for business thats for sure! I will never ever dine at Thai Cottage for as long as I am a live. Im serious folks. :)

Great for lunch because the service is super fast. It is almost always packed and there is a good reason. The lunch specials in particular are very reasonably priced (around $7) and they come with a soup or salad and a spring roll. You also get to choose the "level" of spiciness you want! The pad thai is delicious.

awful , awful , awful service . extremely unprofessional . unforgiven ! . I ordered veggie dish and received meat !!! . and out of the 3 dishes I ordered , I got 2 wrong . food is not as terrible as the service , but its just a tad above -edible absolutely do not recommend it .

Could get crowded. Friendly service, though service time could be slow at peak hour.. parking could also be a challenge at peak hour. When ordered pad Thai, server asked spicy level 1-5... 5 being super spicy... interesting. First time I get asked spicy level for a pad Thai.

A little dried out and the Thai to me was not in the dishes. Too americanized for my taste. I have not gone back but would also not choose this place if it was the last place on earth to eat. The staff was rude and place was way too small and did not flow well.

I had trouble finding this place first and had to call the restaurant as their biz board went bad. Apart from that, the place is nice and the food is good. I certainly recommend this to everyone wish to try Thai food. BTW, this place is next to Chilis.

The Chicken Pad Thai was GROSS. And the lady who took our order got it wrong. I should give it one star but the lady who messed up the order was nice. My boyfriend said his food was "ok" but I could tell he didnt really enjoy it.

This place is so good! Everything we had tasted very good, especially green curry., the staff is welcoming and on top of it the prices are very reasonable. They have lunch specials also on Saturdays.

Excellent Taste. Excellent Service (fast!) Excellent Price. It is with no doubt an "EXCELLENT" option (but keep in mind that it will be very busy, especially during lunch time on week days).

Excellent food. Service is a hit or miss. Sometimes its great, sometimes its awful. One time, it seemed there was only one server, & another person was just kind of helping bring orders out.

Green Love

This place has great prices. I always arrive at 11:30AM or so for lunch, so wait time is not bad at all. Their portions are fair, and they can make any of their dishes vegetarian friendly.
