I have a classic car (1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88) and initially came in to have dual exhaust installed. This particular Meineke location was the only muffler shop on this side of town that I could find that would install custom exhaust manifolds that I had previously purchased. This was the only way to truly dual out the car as the stock exhaust manifolds had a crossover pipe and would not work. The only other shop I could find that would do this was Ripleys in the Spring/Woodlands area which was too far away. From the first time I called and spoke with Corey about whether Meineke could perform this service, I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable in this area. During my initial consultation visit we discussed exactly what I wanted to have done. During the inspection he noticed my rear shocks were shot, and that the motor mounts were old, brittle and very thin. The new mounts would be about 3" thicker and since we were replacing the exhaust, it was advisable to replace them at this time because if we replaced after the the new exhaust was installed, it could require the exhaust welds to be reworked if new mounts were added later as they would raise the engine a couple of inches. His advice on the shocks and motor mounts was correct and not an "up sale". My neighbor is a mechanic and has a lift and he and I have done a lot of our own work, so I knew Coreys advice to be true. He was very cordial and easy to get along with. After the mufflers were installed, I decided that the look I was going for would require moving the tail pipes further towards the center of the vehicle. I called Corey back the following day and discussed this with him in detail. He had no issues making the changes. The next day on my way to drop of the car, the left rear began making a bad knocking sound just down the street from the Meineke. Upon arriving, Corey greeted me and I told him about the noise. He quickly spotted three missing lug nuts on my rear driver side wheel. I had just purchased brand new Cragar Wheels from Firestone the week before and apparently, they missed tightening the lug nuts on this wheel as all of the other wheels were fine. Actually of the two lug nuts that were left, only one was tight. Anyway, Corey said he would replace the lug nuts for me at no charge and we got to talking more about the car. I mentioned that after they re-worked the exhaust, I was going to have the transmission replaced. He informed me that he could take care of as well, and had good connections for folks that specialize in classic cars. I also had an oil leak that I needed to have diagnosed and he determined it was a rear main seal. I already kind of knew this as my next door neighbor had pointed this out as the probable cause of the leak a few months earlier. Corey was shooting straight with me. The one thing most folks want is a mechanic they can trust to give them an honest recommendation. Most folks dont have the auto knowledge I do and are pretty much at the mercy of the mechanics advice. I just picked my car up today after having the transmission and torque converter replaced, exhaust re-worked and rear main seal on the engine replaced. I am very satisfied and will bring any of my vehicles that require service that I cannot do myself, to this Meineke location. Corey was spot on when it came to the re-worked exhaust, as the pipes came out better than I had imagined them to be. Kudos to Corey and his staff for a job well done. It is nice to know there are still folks out there that are looking out for the customer instead of the dollar. In the end, when you have satisfied customers, the dollars take care of themselves! Beware! Very, very dishonest business. Grab your wallet and run! Their using Groupon as a "Bait and Switch" scam. Purchased $14.99 oil change on Groupon. Upon arrival, Manager Lee told me he doesnt need to see my voucher and stated that the charge would be $45??!! Said my Toyota Sienna with a 140K mileage required full synthetic oil. He even tried an amateurish trick by showing me a note from manufacturer recommending certified SAE oil. I simply replied to him that statement doesnt mean synthetic oil is required for my 140K vehicle. BTW in order synthetic oil to have any efficacy of reducing engine wear it must be use continuously from when the car was new. To use full synthetic oil with an 100K + engine is a foolishly wasting your hard-earned money since it cannot reverses the wear of your engine. Even half-a** shade-tree mechanic will know this. No wonder the business looks suspiciously empty of customers. Passed other automotive repair shops on the way and they were all filled with waiting customers. Dont expect this place to remain open for too much longer. I guess thats why they were desperate to grab every dollars they can get their grubby hands on. Keep your distance from this disreputable "business".

I had just put new tires on my truck and wanted to have my alignment checked. I had made an appointment with these guys a week before hand to make sure I had it done the same day as my tires, and to fit it in with my work schedule. Not to mention when I called to get a quote from them THEY told me I had to make an appointment. I walk in to let them know I was there and they tell me its going to be a couple hours because a car had just got there and was having its alignment worked on, with no appointment. I told them I had an appointment, and had made it over a week ago. They said, "Well this car just pulled in, and its going to take a while." so my first question to them was obviously, "So making an appoint means nothing?" his response, "Yeah, I guess so." They guy had a bad attitude the whole time as if I were out of my mind to expect service WHEN I HAD MADE AN APPOINTMENT. Since this incedent, I have herad from multiple people that these guys are notorious for their bad service and their quality of work. I guess you get what you pay for with them. I will obviously NEVER use them and will do all I can to encourage others to STAY AWAY.

The day before my appointment, I made a reservation that included my phone number and email address for 10am. I drove 20 minutes from across town to this location and arrived at 10am per the confirmation text I received. I filled out the paperwork and gave my keys to the rep and then I was told that they cannot perform any oil changes until their tank is emptied. They said that the tank was overflowing since the previous day. I asked why they didnt reach out to those that had appointments to reschedule and they said that the system didnt specify which service the reservations were for. They had been open for 2 hours and did not make any attempt to call me or any others that had appointments to reschedule. When I suggested that, they said they dont have any contact information for appointments. Either they were lying or their IT infrastructure is sub par. I wouldnt trust a credit card transaction at that location based on the information I was given. Dont trust their reservation system, payment system or what they tell you. Avoid at all costs.
