G&S is fast, thorough, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, goodhearted, and conscientious. On top of that, they are affordable! They are careful not to waste your time and money. They fix what is needed. They do the job right the first time and dont upsell! The 3 things they fixed on my car were all sins committed by other shops and dealers. G&S fixed it for 1/4 the price the dealer wanted just to look at it. It was a bunch of annoying noises that worried me. When G&S looked at it, they found that another local shop failed to reattach a shock absorber during a prior repair! Yikes. G&S did so well on my car that I asked if they could send a mechanic out to replace a couple of dead batteries in my RV. OMG ... They do local emergency road service too! The dead batteries in my RV were caused by a Cummins shop certified in motorhomes. During that repair, the Cummins shop failed to turn off the battery cut offs. I called to remind them. I wrote a note on the work order. Despite being told exactly what to do, they repeatedly failed to turn them off everyday over 7 days. If you take a battery to 0V too many times, its a paperweight. G&S came out and replaced dead batteries in my RV and they were 30% less than the next nearest mechanic! Both vehicles are running fantastic! Okay ... I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Honestly, bringing my cars to G&S is the first time I felt a Texas auto shop was straight with me.

I used to love coming here and bringing my vehicle until George hired a bunch of kids to do his job. He hired some young guy whose blonde... He doesnt know a thing. He isnt even the owner. The fact that I took in my vehicle and got it out... it was way worse. and when I addressed the situation the young guy was telling me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. The person who worked on it left it worse. And on top of that they are super pricey. Now. I dont want to pay for the people George hires. I want to pay for the utmost service, for them fixing my vehicle and handing my vehicle back without me having to complain. It was a great place until George stopped being the face... the new face is some kid who doesnt know anything. If you need to have something worked on or repaired, I suggest you ask for to see George. The owner. Even so, when I asked that kid for George he said george was not in the store and it happens that george came right out. Like I had already said, if you need to talk to someone about your concerns talk to George.

I wound up turning into G & S on accident a couple of years back trying to pull into one of the car places nearby. Since I was only going in for an oil change, I decided I might as well pop in and ask about the price. Not only are their oil changes very reasonable, you also get a stamp for a free car wash at the place next door. I was sold, and theyve been my go-to place for everything car-related sense. George (the owner) is a very honest man, which is exceedingly rare in that business. I had two unrelated repair issues two days in a row, so I ended up spending several hours there off and on. I found Ryan (the "new guy" mentioned below) to be very friendly and helpful, and the new woman theyve hired to do administrative work is as sweet as can be. I would recommend them to anyone.

George and his group were fantastic. I am a widow raising a small child on a small income and I went in for a water leak that someone had told me was radiator and after diagnosis, the mechanic walked me through what was done and showed me it was only the AC sweating. (Honesty) He looked my car over and saw I needed brakes on the front. I was in and out in a short period of time and it didnt break my pocketbook. (Quality and Integrity). Oil change get free wash at Encinos. It is a new shop in Kingwood and they explained they are priced less on labor and have the least mark up on parts. This place was GREAT... He has been in the business for 16 years (Experience). I will recommend him to all my family and friends. Amelia

I went there to get new tires on my car, and instead of pointing out the most expensive the guy showed me some for $70. Then he was like, here are some for cheaper that are just as great. I was completely floored because he wasnt trying to ripe me off. I felt like they actually cared about their customers and you are not just another number. I recommend G & S to anyone living in the Kingwood area.
