These guys are thieves! Two times that ive taken it there to get it diagnosed, they told me what was wrong "supposedly" , they sounded soo knowledgeable and sounded honest but prices were so high both times! So I ended up going tovother places and these mechanics fixed my problems with ease and at a low place. The 2nd time I went, I thought my transmission was bad, and they told me it was as well, so I asked what should I do and he said to leave it there for 3 days so they can take out the transmission and cut it open to fix the problem. So I rejected that offer know it would cost $1000+. I took it to an honest mechanic which then told me the transmission is perfectly fine. And it was a $150 part for the catalytic converter that was cause the transmision like symptoms. Dont trust these guys. They look you right in the eyes and lie.

Parts changers! My van was overheating, so the guy says it s the thermostat. They changed the thermostat and said its ready. After pulling off lot lot and going 2 lights down it overheats again. This time they say its the radiator,replaced radiator. Picked it up drove about 3 miles its overheats. They tell me heads cracked. Not to mention this was 3 week process. I took it to Christian Brothers, next morning guy calls and says I have a 50amp fuse to the fan was blown ,Thats All!! $800+ later it was a FUSE! Dont let them practice on your car unless you have deep pockets!!

I brought my Mustang here last week to get pricing on a transmission rebuild, since I went to another shop earlier and they told me my transmission needed to be rebuilt. I stopped by Universal and they told me they couldnt give me pricing on a rebuild because they needed to check the car first to make sure that was really the issue. Turns out, there was only a minor problem with no transmission rebuilt being needed. Universal saved me out of alot of money, these people are trustworthy and good people. My car runs great as of last week

Definitely the best auto repair shop Ive ever been to. When my transmission gave out and I was sure I would never be able to afford to have it fixed, they were able to offer me financing so that I could have my car repaired. Thanks to them, I was able to keep my job. The manager was very helpful and flexible with my situation, always explaining everything about the process so that I was aware of what was being done to my car. I will never use another auto shop for as long as I live in the city of Houston.

I took my car there for an after factory warranty transmission replacement. Despite the warranty company being a pain the guys at universal were incredible!!!! The job they did was fantastic and the extras they included at no charge were an awesome surprise. Everyone there is polite and excellent at their jobs and prices are VERY reasonable. They are honest and fair and I would suggest anyone needing repair give these guys a chance, you will not regret it!!!!!

I took my 2001 nissan pathfinder there due to oil link in transmission and they said my engine will be brought down.I was scared and the manager convinced me of getting the job well done.Am glad they did perfectly and cost less too.they guys are good.though it took a little longer days contrary to my schdule pick up date.but they did a wonderful job and they friendly too.even got a ride back home when I dropped the car.thanks to management.i recommend 5 stars

My car broke down on the road one day, and I was desperately searching for a mechanic. I looked on Google and found Universal and decided to bring my vehicle in, and I am glad that I did so. They offered free towing for my vehicle if I got the job done with them, and repaired my transmission problem with a whole year warranty. The Manager here was great, explaining the whole process to me. Would recommend to anyone!

I go here for most of my repairs 2 cars to be exact, I upgraded from a camry to a jeep! Great prices excellent customer service, do not hesitate to stop here please! This place does bomb work to the point where its a one stop shop , you get a repair and hopefully dont have to see them again until oil change time! Perfect perfect! I love these guys they do great work and worth the price!!!
