Not Good Experience- My experience at AAmoco was not a good experience at all except for the first time I went in. I met Brian and explained to him what my car was doing, he said that they would check my car out and let me know. About two hours later I was told that my transmission needed to be rebuilt. I did not have the cash for the repairs which was about $1800 dollars, he sent me to a financial place that he said could help me that did a lot of business with their customers. But first I had to rent a car at my cost while my car was being repaired. This was not cheap. Then I made an appointment to meet for financial help, this was a joke, by the time I was to get a loan for the repairs, it would have cost me around $4000 to pay back the loan. Luckly I had a friend to loan me part of the cost and I came up with the rest, Five days later I picked my car up. drove out of the parking lot and still same problems, called Brian back, he said give it time to work the kinks out. It did not, it got worse. Took it back, under warranty, was treated rudly, said nothing was wrong with my car, had the mechanic ride with me and the transmission kept messing up. They said they had to pull the transmission again, had to rent another car at my cost . When I went back, they would hardly talk to me, just said it was fixed, Two weeks later the transmission went out. Finally just had to cut my losses and sale my car for less than what it was worth. I contacted Better Bussiness Bureau about this matter, but this business is not registered with them. They contacted them, but have not received a response,

THANK YOU ALL! AAMCO Transmission 5930 Highway 6 N. Houston, TX 77084 My 2004 Chrysler 300m started slipping in the second and third gear really bad. I went and seen Shane at AAMCO Transmission and he took care of me plus more. The "Open Door Policy" that they have to look at your parts being replaced is phenomenal. The mechanics there are highly trained and highly knowledgeable of their profession. They found the problems and then they enhanced their research more by finding all other related issues keeping me from running at the top level that I wanted to be at. With that being said, he went the extra mile and took care of all my issues. The work done is guaranteed and the warranty given is awesome. AAMCO Transmission is truly blessed to have such a great, hard working and dedicated crew of mechanics and employees such as Shane. Even while I was there, they took care of an irritating beeping noise that I had in my vehicle for the last 2 months. Previous mechanics tried but failed. The issue was resolved in under 3 minutes and I must admit that AAMCO has an awesome mechanic crew. I would rate their service at the highest level for going above and beyond my expectations. Muataz Sharif, the owner of the AAMCO franchise at 5930 Highway 6 N, Houston, TX 77084 was very professional! I commend him for having compassion towards his customers and pride in his work. Mu listened thoroughly to the issues I was having with my car, as well as, the current financial hardship I am experiencing as a result of taking my car to a couple of other mechanics prior to the issue being resolved at Mus AAMCO shop. He presented different financial options to me in order to find a reasonable and affordable way for me to get some of the repairs I needed addressed. Although I did not utilize those options, Mu still worked with me to get the main issue repaired at a reasonable price. Therefore, my customer service rating would be exceptional for the care and attention that Mu provided to me. I would definitely recommend other customers to do business with Muatuaz Sharif/AAMCO at 5930 Highway 6 N. Satisfied customer!

QUALITY SERVICE!!! I brought my daughters 2001 Saturn to AAMCO when the transmission was shifting hard - ended up needing pretty much a full rebuild of the transmission. Robert, the store Manager, was very helpful and patient in explaining what the problem was and the options available to us. I had already taken the car to another shop before going to AAMCO, and after making some other calls - I found that AAMCO had the best price to do the work, best warranty, and I felt they offered the most knowledgeable advice. They had the work completed quickly and took the time to make sure everything was working properly. I am extremely happy with the quality of work and personal service we received at this shop. I will use this shop for all my car maintenance/care needs in the future - they are an honest, professional, and quality shop!

This is the absolute worst place i have ever had the displeasure of taking my car. I will NEVER recommend aamco to ANYONE unless i hate that person. Thank you for letting any idiot put your name up on their shop. I took my car in to retrofit air conditioning to new refrigerant. After the install they failed to test for leaks. After two weeks of driving the car, all of the refrigerant leaked out. The manager lame excuses for the poor service was he tested the system but sometimes it leaks right away and sometimes it takes a while to leak show a leak. Keep in mind that my car was at his shop for a week while waiting on other parts for other work that was being done. When I took my car back so he could fix the problem and he told me everything but the the truth in that he, nor his emplyees had no idea what they were doing.

I bought a 2007 Rav4 7 months ago and was not aware of the fuel consumption problems that the vehicle had. I took it in to the shop after the Toyota dealer took 6 months to tell me what the problem was. The engine light kept coming on 2 weeks after each oil change and the dealer told me to just keep checking the oil and top it off when it was low. I am 59 yrs old and that would have been a great inconvenience. I walked into the shop and the owner Moe was there, he was respectful, professional, polite and very understanding. I met Steve who is the person at the shop when Moe is out and he was also professional and great to deal with. I am telling you if you need any repairs done on your vehicle this is the place to bring it to. Thanks Moe and Steve for being so great at your jobs.

This is a great place to fix your car and I will definitely make them my default auto mechanic without question. I initially repaired my manual clutch with them when it would not go into any gear in January 2015. This August when the problem recurred, I went back there and without any ado, Steve( the owners cousin) took my car in immediately and I had it back as good as new within three days- FREE OF CHARGE!!!!. This would have cost me nearly $2000, but they honored the warranty on the repair they did previously. This is very rare. Some other repair shops will find an excuse to charge for that repair. This is an honest group of people doing a great job to satisfy their customers!! Than you so much!! Customer service like no other!!!!
