I originally went back to Nyhus because the experience I had when buying my Cruze last year was absolutely great! However, this time was frustrating and unimpressive. I had an appointment to test drive a vehicle at 8am, so I showed up at 8am, only to find that the vehicle I was there to test drive was not there, but being driven and used as a personal vehicle to one of the salesmen. He showed up 15 minutes late with coffee in his hand and didnt even acknowledge the fact that we were waiting for him. He hopped in another one of the vehicles on the lot and took off. We give the vehicle a look over and its filthy. Dirty top to bottom. The guy didnt even bother to wash it. So, we start it up and it is basically on fumes for gas. So the salesman we are dealing with, says "just take it up the road a little bit and bring it back" instead of putting gas in. The vehicle had personal items from the other salesman (the one using it) everywhere. Sweatshirt, gardening stuff, coffee spills etc. Just disgusting. So we hop in and decide to test drive it anyway, BIG mistake. There was some sort of play when taking off, so when we get back, we mention it, and the salesman says, yes its a U joint......Why did they not fix it prior to putting it "on the lot?" On top of all of this, we go in to see what numbers we can come up with. They low ball me on the vehicle I bought from them 1 year ago. I wont be returning. I did however, find a very impressive vehicle at the other lot in Perham. Schmitz Motors. I was impressed with them. :)

I had a trade in so I spoke with a few dealerships and Mark stood out being super easy going and not just giving me a high pressure sales pitch that you see at almost every dealership. It felt comfortable so I decided to skip the other dealers on the way and make the hour and a half drive to check out a clean 2010 f150 Lariat they had on the lot. Got there and it looked better than the pics. I dealt with both Mark for the sale and Jon for the financing. Both were super easy to deal with and made the trade in/purchase the easiest Ive experienced and Ive bought quite a few vehicles in my time. They treated me fair on JR trade and I even got to stay with my same bank that held the previous loan and they handled everything. Id definitely recommend these guys and plan on checking them out for the next vehicle. I bought a f150 lariat with all the bells and whistles and they had it all shined up waiting for me.
