So Ive taken my 1996 Toyota T100 to Lee Martin twice now and have been very happy with the service. The 1st time was for a leaking hose for my AC. I already knew where the leak was and told him. Instead of trying up-charge me and sell me a whole new AC unit, he just replaced an o-ring, recharged the system and I was good to go. Less that $200 and my AC worked fine all through the Houston Summer. Recently I went back in to get my brakes fixed and oil changed. Again, I think I got a really good deal. New front brake rotors, adjusted my rear drum brakes, replaced a tie rod. Its like driving a new truck. $750. Again, no attempt to upsell or tell me about all the other problems I need to fix. Its a 20 year old truck. I could keep sinking money into until I might as well just get a new one. The reason you drive an old vehicle is to save money. You put the bare minimum into it necessary to keep it on the road. I think my favorite thing about Lee is that he seems to recognize this. I only wish he could work on Volkswagens so we could take my wifes Passat to him ;-) Highly recommended.

Growing up I always wondered why my parents went to him consistently instead of the dealership. Now I know. A/C in car went out in the middle of july. went to a dealership who said just the diagnostic check alone would put me in the $600-800 range and then the actual repairs would put me closer to 2 grand, while giving me just terrible customer service and being extremely vague. waited for lee martin to come back from vacation (well worth it), brought it in first thing, 3 hours later he calls to tell me what he found, told me how much it would be and asked if wanted it done. was finished two hours later, went and picked it up after work. Staff waited a few mins after hours to make sure i got my car. Costed less than a quarter of what the dealership quoted. No up-sell, no bs. just a cold A/C within a day. Could not be happier/more grateful. i get to go on a great vacation now because of the time and money saved. Big thank you to Lee Martin Automotive.
