Be advised: They DO NOT take appointments on the weekend and WILL NOT honor your online appointments. Your only choice is to leave the car with them and come back hours later. If you leave with your car they send you back to the end of the line. This is a big problem for me as my family only has one vehicle. I tried working with them by offering to bring my vehicle in at any time of the day as long as they could get to work on it within 10-15 min but they refused. They even tried explaining to me that "first come first serve" benefits the customer because taking appointments on the weekend causes confusion since they are so busy. That makes no sense! The truth is it only benefits the store by guaranteeing a steady stream of work while also guaranteeing customers hours long wait times. I ended up calling their customer service to complain and they confirmed that its also against their company policy and stores cannot deviate from company policy. After that complaint I received a call from their store manager and he also tried explaining to me that its for the customers own good to not take appointments. To his credit, he did set up an appointment for me to get my car serviced. However, they still dont follow company policy and I dont want to have to go through this every time I need a service done. In fact, the only reason Im not giving them 1 star is because every employee there has been cortieous and professional, from the store manager down. So, Im sitting here now, waiting for them to finish my car. Praying that they do not mistreat my car because the store manager had to set this up. I dont know if other locations honor weekend appointments or not but I will be taking my business elsewhere because, until they are forced to follow company policy or until pepboys lets customers know that individual stores policies may vary, the whole company is responsible for this.

Came in on Friday at 1:25 pm to get and oil change. I ask the guy how long its going to take, In his own words he said " there is a guy in front of you so probably 45 minutes." I took his word for it, BIG MISTAKE. so after giving him my keys (at the 1:27 pm mark) I started to walk to Home Depot to do some shopping. After coming from home Depot ( an hour later) I saw my vehicle in the same spot. So I waited a little more. At this time other people start coming in and get there car service and leave out less than 30 minutes. So spending 3 hours outside on the curb. I went in and asked is my vehicle done. A different guy in said " he is pulling it in right now. ( At the 3:35 pm mark). So I went out and sat out side right in front of my vehicle. 20 minutes later a guy emerges from the garage and takes my vehicle in. At 4:30 pm They called me to tell me my vehicle is ready. My first words when I went to pay. Is " THREE HOURS AND A HALF.. you told me 45 minutes" the guy didnt say nothing and blew me off. That being said with in the whole time I was waiting for my vehicle ( parked in the same spot for three hours ) I began to walk around to the garage side to see what is going on. I found that there were 2 guys siting and dong nothing. And that made make a decision not to do business with Pepboys ever again. You all have lost a loyal customer. I have been bringing my vehicles to this location since 2000. BUT back in 2014 I really love the Pepboys off Hwy 6 and Clay that unfortunately closed down. Every time I go to that location its done in less than 30 minutes...even with 2 customers ahead of me. The one on Hwy 6 and 529 UNACCEPTABLE. Oh and I have a Dash cam and time stamp receipt to prove it and will be uploaded to Youtube in a couple of days on a bad review page.

I waited 5 hours for a 4 wheel alignment. I got the 1 year warranty so I really dont have a choice but to return. My car still pulls to the right after spending a half day for a 30 min job. I go in today to schedule an appointment to re-do my 4 wheel alignment but I waited 15-20 minutes behind one customer and nobody said anything to me like " I will be with you sir". Customer service is huge in a business like this. If you cant provide efficient time to do repairs and you have the worst customer service Ive ever experience, they shouldnt be in business. After 20 minutes Im fed up because I just wanted to make an appointment to avoid the 5 hours for a simple alignment. As I turned and walked away, the manager yells can I helped you sir. To minimize confrontation I politely said Ill be back. I will NEVER EVER be back at this store. This pep boys location makes me never want to give any pep boys my business again. I have to deal with them for a year bc I paid for the year warranty on my 4 wheel alignment. When the year is up, they will never get my hard money again. They are unprofessional. They are slow. I have to take my car back because they didnt do it right the first time. They do not proper manage the flow of traffic. Ive had my repairs for my cars over the years and have used different companies. This is by far the worst repair experience Ive had over the last 20 years hands down. Do not take your car here. To many other better and more qualified companies that will do a far better job without taking up your entire day. I had an appointment as well.

This is my sisters experience. A simple oil change took an hour to complete. They made her late for a doctors appointment because a 20 minute job took an hour. They lied to my sister stating that her 20 minute old tires needed replacing. She just bought two new tires at Discount Tire which is next door to pepboys. Also, they said her rear shocks (replaced less than a year ago) were leaking and were causing "feathering" on her rear tires ("uneven wear" is a more common term). Discount tire put the NEW tires on the rear axle, and the older tires on the front! How do you get brand new tires mixed up with uneven tread wear pepboys? I inspected the rear shocks and they were both bone dry, top and bottom. Their multi-point inspection failed to notice the extreme battery terminal corrosion but they sure tried to sell higher priced oil and a new air filter in addition to their service packages. To be fair, the air filter actually did need replacing. They had a chance to make legitimate sales and gain confidence with my family, as the front shocks / brake pads are due for replacing, and the battery terminal needs service. I guess they were hoping my sister did not know anything about her car, not to mention they were trying to be flirtatious to make a sale even though the guy clearly had a wedding ring on. Super unprofessional experience and dare I say sexist! What a joke. There will be no 2nd chance and im alerting friends and family of our experience via social media. What a disrespectful and untrustworthy company, you done goofed pepboys!
