For many people, who are not as knowledgable about automotive stuff, there is a fear about going to an auto shop, because so many overcharge or oversell you on things that are not needed. I have seen and heard so many stories like this. If you want a place you can trust and that will do great work on your vehicle GO TO UPLAND! I was so impressed by their work, and their honesty and integrity since the first time I brought a vehicle there for a transmission issue (that I had already paid thousands to be fixed at another shop). I actually brought it to the dealer for a quote and left saying, "For that price I should just buy a new vehicle" (I got a call from a salesman from that dealership that same day). Then a friend recommended Upland. Not only did they save me THOUSANDS, they fixed the issue and the vehicle ran great for a few more years before I bought a new one. Thats just one story, and I could write a short book with others, but I think Ive made my point. I trust Upland 100%. Shakil and Jay and the guys there are wonderful and I recommend their shop to everyone. Several years ago my brother needed his struts fixed on his car and he was concerned that he might be being overcharged by the shop he took his car to. I asked him, "Can you make it to Houston?" He was in Abilene! If youre reading this I can only assume that you dont have a shop that you feel this way about (or you are very far away from it). Trust me, go to Upland so you can rest assured that you will have someone you can trust and they will do great work on your vehicle. If there is something wrong that needs attention, they will tell you, but they wont just do the work and charge you without your ok. Also, if something is not wrong with it, they will tell you. Ive seen them turn away thousands of dollars of that they could have easily made (because of work someone else said needed to be done, but really didnt). They will not trade integrity for money. They are the only ones I trust completely with my vehicles.

First off i was forced to used this company due to uncontrollable circumstances. I was a little skeptical about going to this place based off the curb appeal alone. But when i got inside it looked like a doctors office (first sign that it was a rip off). I took my car there for brake repairs in order for me to past the state inspection. It took them about 4 days to fix my brakes; i had to call them to find out that my car was ready and i know preschoolers that speak better english then the person who answered the phone. when i got my car back i immediately took it to get an inspection @ jiffy lube and lets just say god was on my side because when they pulled the car on the ramp and put the parking brake on (that upland had just fixed) the car rolled off and dam near ended up in the street before they caught it. SO IN MY OPINION DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY WITH UPLAND!!! and another thing how did they get accredited by the BBB in 2000 when they just thru that building up about a year ago. SUSPECT!!!!

Is 10 years of consistent, quality performance worthy of my endorsement? You bet it is. Upland Automotive has always provided superior service to me. They diagnose the automotive problem, they offer solutions (and will explain them in terms I can at least grasp if not completely understand), they project the costs so that I can make a decision and perform in the projected time frame. They are always polite, friendly and do not talk down to me because I don’t understand automotive lingo. I don’t write endorsements but I also cannot abide lies about the performance of Upland Automotive. The internet makes it too easy for individuals to make disparaging remarks, not just to a friend or neighbor but to all internet readers. You would evaluate the validity of the statements based on your knowledge of the individual making the remarks. On the internet you cannot make such an evaluation. If you need honest, excellent automotive work try Upland Automotive for yourself . by tom

In my 75 years of life on Earth, Upland Automotive is by far the most capable, honest, knowledgeable, up-to-date, smart and dependable auto repair service I have ever found. As one example of Uplands expertise and excellent treatment of its customers, my wife and I took our car to Upland early in the week and told them that we could not get the radio and CD player to work after we changed the car battery and put in the correct code (shown in the owners manual). I said that I was willing to pay the estimated several-hundred-dollar cost for a replacement radio and CD player and installation, as we were about to leave for Austin and always enjoy the radio and CD player on any trip. A few hours later that same day, Upland called and said Lee of Upland had correctly used the code, and the radio and CD player were working fine and that the cost was zero!

I have been going to Upland for all my vehicles needs for a long time now. Ive been satisfied with every issue fixed on my vehicles. One of many things I like about this place is that I know that the price I will pay for the job they will do on my vehicles is the best price and I know the quality of the job done will be also the best. Also I like to go to places where people know who I am and I know them as well and in Upland, Shakil always welcomes me with a strong hand shake, even if I have not been in his place in a while, he knows who I am. This last time I went there, the A/C in my Ford Escape was not working properly, and here in Houston thats a necessity not a luxury. The A/C was fixed in no time and now it works like a charm. Thanks Shakil for keeping my vehicles running good!

The month we married, we started taking our cars to Shakil and Jay. That was 25 years ago, and were all still together! It started when a dealership wanted $1200 to fix my A/C. A friend sent me to Shakil who determined I just needed a $4 part. He fixed it for free. Over the years, they have handled the service on all of our vehicles. These men are honest and honorable. They have told us when it was time to buy new vehicles instead of paying them to keep the old running. In todays world, I think its hard to find places that put the customers best interests ahead of their own financial gain. These guys strive to do he right thing. We wouldnt go anywhere else for our automotive needs.

I have also bought vehicles from Upland and even sold one of my vehicles to them. During all the time that I have known Shakil and the Upland personnel I have been treated with the utmost integrity and honesty and the quality of the work performed on my vehicles has always been outstanding.
