I would give zero stars if the option was available. Bring your own parts and they charge $125 (not 95) per hour and you will likely deal with multiple people and multiple prices. Bringing you own parts is of little help because they just keep adding even more hours at $125 and it will nearly cost as much if they had provided the parts. If a job should take 8 hours and you provide the parts, dont expect to get charged for 8 hours. Expect more like 12 or even 14 hours. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired to say the least. Just asking for directions can result in rude replies and completely wrong directions. Ask why a price increases and you never get a straight answer. Why bring your own parts you ask. Well $81 for a 2106 wheel seal is just one example. The bottom line is I wouldnt recommend the shop to anyone. Excessive parts prices and ridiculous labor charges seems to be a common complaint on reviews. After dealing with them, not by choice, I find the low star reviews to be reflective of my experience with the company. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable shop in the area if you go to the Dallas area and avoid Southern Diesel Repair.

HORRIBLE!!! When you own employees tell you that they ripped you off sayin that they were finding ways to hike up the price when they found out wholesale truck and Finace was payin for it for a dpf with parts and labor came out to over $12,000 and then two days after I left my dpf defAult code came back and I had to take it back and then they said I needed an ard head too which I paid out of my pocket for $2,500 which I call and checked the price its was only $1400 at the Kenworth dealership Zach told me they have a mark up price which the manager after I threaten to take legal action reimbursed $600 this was all from January and Febuary of 2016 fast forward today 4/13/2016 Kenworth dealership says I need an ard head that I paid over $2500 for in Febuary

The customer service that Southern Diesel Repair offers is extremely unsatisfactory. The reason I decided to use them is because there website is well put together, and the wording on their services such as " quick, efficient; that won’t break the bank" caught my attention. It took them nearly 10 hours to repair our broken water pump (big rig vehicle), and wanted to charge us close to $1,900 for the water pump/belt and labor. I asked the dispatcher for a list of itemized receipts for the repairs; she wasnt happy about that, and told me she would charge us more for keeping her on the phone, and not letting her get to her next call. We will not be calling them again.

I brought my 2010 Pete into shop truck was smoking and hard starting when it did it smoked profusely. After taken to 3 shops this company found problem in just one day. They ended up putting new cummins ISX in frame. they had me fixed up and on the road in two weeks. I was only down 2 weeks and 3 days total. My truck is running like a champ and best fuel mileage I had in long time.The mechanics there were great and I even get free PMS with my motor. I was impressed with the great worked they did and how fast it was done. I will use this shop every time I am in the Dallas area.

I came in for special for a/c . They charged my ac I walked out with cold ac and for 120.00 just as special says. they did such great job and stuck to price like it said that I brought my other 2 tracks in for ac charge and pm special. they put me in as regular customer. which made my bill even less. The last who helped me was very kind. There was a nice lounge area to watch TV and play games made time go by quick. Also free wif. i was in and out in 2 hours maybe 2.5 at most. All in all i was happy and walked out with a 100 dollar gift card for next visit. Jim

Thieves!!!! Do not make the mistake of taking your vehicle here! Print your first and every following estimate because there system is set up to change if you catch them raising the cost on you. They will then gamble that you dont have a copy of the previous estimates and ask you to send them. Of course if you dont print they will back date the system and therefore back date the email to show the same cost from beginning to end in an attempt to cover their tracks. NOTICE ONLINE PORTAL AND PRINT ALL ESTIMATES BECAUSE THEY WILL CHANGE THEM!

Complete scam artist. Had work done was under warranty. Was told warranty wasnt going to cover it so paid out of pocket. Found out 3 months later warranty did cover it and paid the bill and also billed the warranty company for additional parts and labor for work done on truck that I knew nothing about i really dont know if work was even done. Over $20,000 scammed out of currently in process of suing. Dont say u wasnt warned.

Called for roadside assistance on my 2010 kenworth bc it wouldnt start their technicians arrived promptly diagnosed the problem it ended up being a eletrial issue within 2 hours i was back on the road making money, i cant say enough good things about this small business im a local driver and ill continue to use their service any time i am in the dfw metroplex.

Dont go there !! At $120.00 per hour I expected professionals. Not grease monkeys standing around smoking and talking. Work 10 minutes ....talk 20 minutes....smoke 15 minutes.....scratch body parts ... GO TO ANOTHER SHOP !! Sherrie Doering is a very dishonest person. STAY AWAY !!!!! Stay away from there, rip off , tell you one thing on the phone , it is another when they done with you , charged me 90 $ for changing tire, even TA charges 45, 25 for disposal , insane, tires price whent 50 buck after they installed it, instead bridgestone,as promised , was some knock off, stay away from them, they r nothing ,but scam artisits

Charge artists. Came to change the power steering hose. Easiest task you could imagine. Was charged over 400$ of which 95$ inspection (really?, everything was obvious, Ive shown the problem myself), 30$ for using credit card, 85$ part run, although I was told that they most likely have it in stock. Will never come here again!

Went in for repairs on my trailer. Was promised a quick repair, but it became a 2 day affair. The worst part was the outrageous bill for repairs I did not authorize, including a 300 % markup on parts. I didnt appreciate the unfriendly atmosphere either. Dont recommend at all!!. A total rip off!!

They sure know how to take advantage of people ask for a ride to the hotel and next day from the hotel to shop never did they mention they were going to charge me 250 for the ride really for 30 miles. They didnt even give me a receipt they had to email it so I didnt see the charge till later.

Is this place a daycare or a diesel repair shop. So far there has been little kids laying around in the customer waiting room were the customer cant even sit let alone watch TV other than barney really guys if this is a place of business so be it leave the babies at home or with a sitter.
