I had been dreading to engage a roofer for my 13+ Yr old roof...because of all the scary stories out there. My friend then got me connected to Renown Roofing & Construction ..and it just went right all the time from there on. Matt was very prompt to come over and have an inspection completed within 24Hrs of our call conversation. He is smart & very thorough in his explanations to help one understand each and every thing on his findings. Since I wanted a roofer and not a rocket scientist, I decided to go with Renown as they appeared to be client centric, easy to work with & a very ethical team. I was given the walk through of the entire process well in advance ..Thereafter, Erika from the office team stayed in constant touch to keep me updated of where we are on the overall process at the moment. Once everything was ready, Phillip was assigned as the onsite construction manager for this roofing project. Phillip is one guy ..you will be pleased at the very first meeting :-) He is very communicative, planned, honest and detailed oriented guy. He worked with me to set up the project dates - per our convenience. As the roof replacement started - Phillip spent the whole day monitoring & supervising the crew. A very neatly done job & the crew cleaned up after themselves. Renown Roofing & Construction Company is one of the best kept secrets going. These guy does great work for a great price with a great honesty and are very easy to work with. Do give them a try!

I recently purchased a home that had hail damage. The previous homeowner filed a claim against his insurance and contracted Renown Roofing & Construction. I was a bit skeptical at first because their main office was in Lewisville and the house was in Cedar Hill. I worked directly with James Mangum and Phillip Newson and they both were awesome. Phillip came back to personally inspect the work that was performed and noticed a few minor things that should have been done but sent a few guys back out to complete it. It took only 20 minutes and they were done. I have not experienced any issues within the last 5 weeks and there has been several strong rain storms. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone who is looking to get a quality, reasonably priced, and high customer experience roof job done. I have had three roof replacement over the course of owning four homes and this one was the best! I am so impressed with their work that I have asking James to give me a quote on installing some gutters. You will not be disappointed. They really follow through and want you to be completely satisfied with their work and I sure am!!!!

Save yourself the time and stress of researching further. You found the one you were looking for! I have the utmost praise and relief that I worked with Renown Construction to replace the roof on our condominuium in Oaklawn. Their turnkey services and impeccable customer service gave me peace of mind througout the project - from the beginning when I first called Rob Girard upset with our leaks (he calmed me down and let me know he would take care of everything!), throughout Erika Girards upstoppable negotiations with the insurance company (she is superwoman!), throughout the contrustruction period (what an amazing team!), until the very end of the job and on when Erika continued to communicate about our warranties and Rob making sure we understood what we had recieved. The work was so good I hired Erika again to complete the repairs inside my condo. Its a shame more businesses arent run with this high level of integrity. I have already begun to recommend Rob, Erika and Renown Roofing and Construction to my family and neighbors. They will also be my first call should any future property I own ever require their services. Its a no-brainer!

Contacted Renown Construction for a roof inspection in May 2017. James Magnum, Senior Account Manager called and came out for and inspection. He found a large hole in the roof from the baseball size hailstorm. He made his assessment and was present for the insurance adjuster inspection. They covered everything that was damaged. James and his team were very professional in keeping us updated throughout the process. They are also licensed to install Class 4 hail resistant shingles. His team replaced all the wood, installed the Class 4 shingles, painted, and replaced the gutters. Each product was the highest quality. The professional care to detail, the quality of products used, and the craftsmanship in each phase of repair was outstanding. We rarely write reviews unless they do outstanding work. James Magnum and the Renown Construction team are of that quality. Well be using them for more our major home improvement projects this summer.

The roof did not pass on the first inspection. The roof did not pass on the second inspection. James Mangum was professional and accommodating, but thats it - no one else was. The roofing crew was sub-contracted and had to come back to fix problems that were called out by the city inspectors and a third time because they failed to put back the pre-existing squirrel-and-rodent-screens. Phillip, one of the roofing crew supervisors, told me to just leave my $10K check under the mat for him, because I had to pay before he could start the work – this is AFTER they had already cashed my $5K+ deductible check (under the mat???? Ridiculous!). The front-office clerk, Erika Girard, was snarky, unprofessional and hostile – and she emailed my insurance provider that she had spoken to me about the error in the final invoice – a total fabrication. No, I do not recommend them. Caveat emptor.

Renown took out the guess work and walked us through every step. They were generous with information and answered all of our questions. Renown personnel were thorough in managing our expectations, and their performance was above-board. Early on, I had a choice and was pleased that I went with renown. While the crew was working o my home, I was able to observe the company I almost hired work on a neighbors home across the street. The other companys contractors were loud, disrespectful and unprofessional. I was very grateful it was the renown crew I had allowed into my home. In the end Renown kept their word and cost was exactly what they promised... well... actually it was $50 less they they had estimated. Not only would I re-hire renown, I would strongly recommend this company to anyone who is in need for any roofing, repair or renovation project.

Last fall (2016) and after owning my home for 11years I felt it was time to have my roof inspected. I reached out to Renown Roofing & Construction for their assistance and my meeting with Kevin Bryant was an eye opener. He discovered a fairly good size hole in my roof and other affected areas damaged by hail. My trepidation in taking on a roof replacement project was mitigated by Renowns excellent team of professionals who took time and care in answering ALL of my many questions. Anne Middletons knowledge, patience, warm demeanor and attention to detail helped confirm my decision that Renown Roofing was my optimum choice. Moreover, they are licensed, GAF MasterElite certified and use GAF products. Throughout this entire process Ive held them to a higher standard --- And theyve delivered!

We were in the process of getting our home ready for sale. After the hail storms over the last few month (Spring 2017) Renown Roofing was recommended to us by a trusted friend. Just about everyone we have worked with there has treated us like family and has taken great care of us. During the process, we ran into some unexpected problems but Renown really came through and went above and beyond what was expected. Their services and product are topnotch. Even after our roof work was complete we have been able to call on them and their services to address concerns that turned up during the selling process.
