I am furious at the moment...I have been bringing my kids to adventures playcare since the summer of 2014. All three of them have loved it... Well, until today. I brought my 6 yr old in at 9am this morning and picked him up after 3:30pm. When I brought him in, I was asked if he will be eating lunch. I responded "yes, he will be here all day". The girl at the front desk told me they were having pizza that day and ask if I was ok with that. I responded, "yes"...When I picked him up this afternoon, he instantly told me he was starving and that he hadnt eaten all day. He told me he asked them multiple times for something to eat but they simply refused to feed him. I went back inside to clear things up with them and was only given "oh were sorry". I have spent literally thousands of dollars at adventures over the last year and a half and have referred several other families to use their services, but forgetting to feed my child after he repeatedly asked for food is unexceptable. I will never ever bring my children here again! If you are considering this childcare facility, shop around... Obviously, their employees are incompetent and there has to be better options... Mostly likely options that are more affordable and have trained and competent employees.

I found out about this place through a friend who had been using it, & my kids have been attending since 2012. I feel comfortable with the staff, and my kids like it. I typically use it every few weeks to drop the kids off when I need to run errands or just need a few hours break (2-3 hours max). Kids areas are separated by age group. There are lots of physical activities, toys and games (i.e. kids are worn out when I pick them up :-) ) The pricing is reasonable. Location is secure. Chicken nuggets and pizza meals are available for purchase at a reasonable price. They also allow food from home, and this is a big plus for me. My youngest has attended through infancy, potty training and now as a toddler. My oldest started as a toddler. My kids rarely want to leave when I arrive, and I consider this a testament to their experience of spending time there. I recommend this place to other parents. I have only used the McKinney location and have no experience with the other locations.

Every single time I bring my child he comes home sick. Not sure what there sanitation standards are but they must not be good. He has caught croup and other serious illnesses that take several days to a week to recover from and require medication to improve and therefore costs us a 50$ copay, luckily Im a stay at home mom but if you work outside the home that would equal a week of missed work staying home and caring for your sick one. And then our whole family gets sick too because if one gets it we all get it. We lose a hundred dollars a day if my husband has to call in. Just not worth it to go see a movie.

I had major cause for alarm with our last visit to this location. I want everyone to know that they claim its their "policy" to not show concerned parents surveillance video due to "privacy" but they can apparently plaster your kids pictures all over their page. The only thing i was offered were stills. I have spoken to the director and corporate but surprisingly have not heard from the owner. Something wrong is happening here. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS KIDS HERE!! I WILL NOT STOP DEMANDING TO VIEW THE SURVEILLANCE!! As far as the owner You can wait to hear from licensing and cps!!

On 9/29/2008, I dropped my 2 year old off for about 6 hours and packed a total meal with snacks included. Returning home I noticed the food had been untouched, not to mention that my son was a complete monster by this time. I called Adventure Kids back to see if they fed my son a meal that was on their menu. They didnt feed my 2 year old the entire time he was there. I was told there was a miscommunication and thats why he didnt get fed. Livid is not the word to express my feelings. We didnt even receive an apology from the owner owner in reference to the matter.

Love the facility and the staff. My 3 year old son has a blast when we drop him off. When we go he gets excited because he "gets to go play". Regarding the past food issues from the other posts - When we drop him off we fill out a short form stating what he should be fed. Not sure if this is how it was before but that is how it is now.

This center is fantastic. My daughter has gone here during the day while I worked as well as at night when I wanted a date with my husband. They are so great with my daughter and she begs to go back. They have so much fun and I would recommend this place to everyone.

The staff should take a gander at their job listings online. The job seemed interesting until further reading, the listing is very rude and condescending. Not a place Id feel comfortable leaving my kids if thats how they treat their staff.

My 3 year old loves this place. I take him once a week but he asks to go everyday. So far havent had problems with them. I love that its an hourly pay instead of weekly. The staff is really friendly too!

Friendly staff...fun facility for kids (diaper or not). Toddler area is divided with a half wall from the older kids area which is nice to see. Convenient hours and easy registration process!
