I found the Chop Shop while searching for a new barber on Google and decided to give it a try because it was local and had good reviews. I was a walk-in and had a short wait. I typically get a low fade with an edge up and Carlton didnt disappoint, probably the best fade Ive received in my 32 years. The barber took his time and nothing was missed. My edge up was done with a straight razor. The cost was $16 before tip. The conversation was friendly and service was great. Carlton asked for my opinions once he was finished and I let him know it was a bit short (maybe 1/8" too short) which is understandable when switching barbers. I was pleased with the quality of the cut and will return.

Took my soon to be 3 year old to two other barbers previously, and he bawled when they cut his hair... Took him to Carlton at the Chop Shop and he didnt shed a tear! Carlton was very attentive, professional, patient, humble and confident in his trade and Im sure he can easily adapt to the needs and personality of his clients. Based on my observation I see the same level of professionalism and competence in the other barbers. Check these barbers out today... You wont be disappointed!

Stopped by this morning for the simple fact that they carried the same name as the barber shop me and my Boyz go to back in Suffolk VA. They lived up to what I expected. We used 2 of the 3 barbers they had on hand. We made it in to the shop right in time because shortly after we arrived about 5 customers walked in. These guys did a phenomenal job and Im sure to come back as long as my family remains with in 15 miles if the shop. A+++ 23 Dec 2015

I used too cut my hair at the house because no one could cut it right when the chop shop barbershop first open i gave them a try and ever since than rich has been my barber and he has never disappointed me my hair is always on point the chop shop barber shop takes pride in there work soo if your looking for a barber who take pride in there work the chop shop barber shop is the place too go

Went to try out the "Chop shop" and they went above my expectations. Met Carlton and Richard real nice guys. Kept it 100 the whole time. Richard did a good job on my cut. I definitely approve there barber shop and highly recommend them. If you want quality service go check them out. God bless.

Best haircut Ive gotten in years. The barbers will talk your ear off if you want them to or go about their business if you dont. Dont let the look of the shop fool you either they know what theyre doing. Everytime Im in town Ill be dropping by.
